We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Ventnor House. We had the entire house to ourselves, which gave us a lot of comfort, privacy and freedom — just what we needed for a relaxing holiday. The house was very clean, spacious and well equipped, and the location is excellent, close to the beach, in a quiet area. The hosts were extremely welcoming and always helped us with everything we needed, also giving us useful recommendations, which made the stay even more enjoyable. One detail that made everything really special was the fact that the monkeys visited us! It was simply wow to see them around the house. I highly recommend this accommodation! If you are looking for peace, comfort and a touch of exotic magic.

Excellent communication with charming hosts who were very helpful and friendly. Very easy walk to beach, restaurants etc. Very quiet, secure location, tucked away from main road. Felt very safe and secure. Perfect spot. Comfortable beds. No AC but large fans, so slept very well.

We loved the location. We were given a lovely Apartment with so much room. It also had a private area for sitting outside, just by the Apartment door, although one is free to walk around the spacious grounds and sit to enjoy the flowers, shrubs and wildlife. We were given fresh fruit to eat which was delicious and invited to pick apples, mangoes if we wanted. So very kind. Rob, his mother Doriel, Chantall, Marilyn and the other' live in 'people were so friendly, kind and always helpful. It was like living with family while on holiday.Rob has also, thoughtfully, installed British sockets for his guests- such a fantastic thing to do. It was so nice to plug our electrical items straight into the sockets. Brilliant. The beaches were only a short walk away (5 minutes) as were all the beachside Restaurants and the beautiful Boardwalk.

It was walking distance to the beach and restaurants. The house had lots of space. Each of the three bedrooms were a good size. It was nice having two bathrooms. The kitchen had the essentials for cooking and eating (e.g., pots, plates, glasses, cutlery ...) There were fans in each room. It was nice to sit out on the deck. The garden was pretty, especially when lit up at night.

The 3 bedroom house on the photo was amazing. It had absolutely everything that you needed. The owners went above and beyond to help me and my two young children. The beds were really comfortable and the wifi was really strong. It really felt like we were at home.

Dorial, Robert and Marilyn were exceptional hosts, super friendly, super helpful and the minute they met us at the apartment upon arrival, you immediately felt part of the family. They were always around somewhere on-site and if you needed anything at all, nothing was too much trouble. My lock on my suitcase corroded and Robert came over, and not only helped me get into my suitcase, but even gave me a replacement lock. I also needed to text him as I needed some antibiotics while out there and he came straight over and advised me exactly where to go , the entire process was made dead simple and hassle free. The facilities on-site are great, commercial size washers, there for use free of charge. A lovely garden to chill out in and meet other guests (if you want to). There was a very handy 'Barbados in a nutshell' booklet in the apartment which helps you decide what you may like to do while you are there. Robert and Dorial knew the island very well and would advise on how to get to local shops, beaches, told us about the shuttle style buses that run all day up til about 11pm, they simply could not have made us more 'at home'. Lovely people. The apartment was as described. Clean, comfortable and accommodating. The location was perfect, close enough to Bridgetown, just a short bus away. The local beach, Rockley is beautiful, clean golden sands, turquoise warm sea and for us, even in Mar, pretty much always clear blue skies (29/30 degrees). The beach and bard / restaurants were just a 5min walk away. Close to the infamous Oistins Fish Market. On Fri nights there's a festival like atmosphere there with great food, drinks and music and dancing. Not to be missed. The apartment was only a 30min taxi ride from the airport and only $61BBD (Mar 2025). Robert organised our taxi returning to the airport for us, again there it is, that personal service with a smile. :-) I would fully recommend staying here.

Great location, just 5 min walk into Rockley. We had the apartment that sleeps 8. Lots of space. Everything is a little dated but works well. Felt safe there. There’s a laundry room in the garden which is great. Robert and Doriel are lovely hosts-we were allowed to stay in our apartment a little longer )free of charge) and Robert arranged our taxi which was 25 USD cheaper than the one from the airport. Absolutely amazing value.
