Lovely comfy guest house/pension in briancon new town, a 5-8 minute walk from the train/bus station. Run by a lovely, kind, friendly, helpful lady who speaks reasonably good English. Very comfy room with large balcony. Rooms on different floors. I was in a simple room with large comfy double bed, with duvet, bed sheets and pillows. Small toilet in a separate room from the sink and shower. Liquid shower jell provided. hand and bath towels provided. Small round table and one chair in room. Small cabinet next to bed. One plug socket next to table, one plug socket behind small cabinet. Breakfast costs 10 Euroso. Breakfast includes, bread, butter, biskuits, fruit, yogat, tea/coffee juice. Bus stop to go to the old town 1 minute walk from pension. Would definitely stay again. Excellent, good speed free WiFi.

Friendly hosts. Good communication - later check in was arranged easily. Handy location for town and station (SNCF). Clean and tidy.

Jive comfortable hotel exactly what’s expected friendly staff undercover parking for my Motorbike was a bonus and lots of hot water and the wifi actually worked very well quite and comfortable

Inexpensive. Handy location to stop over after riding across the Alps. Covered motorcycle parking. Terrace with fine views. Despite some of my comments sounding negative, I would happily stay here again if passing by.

“Super basic and expensive”

Well placed, close to the center and the station. Super simple, if you need a place to casually crash on it's the best. literally a place just to sleep over, no room to do anything else.

Very comfortable bed. Warm - radiator in room worked very well. Rooms clean and possibly recently redecorated. Nice view over communal terrace and mountain. Basic but good shower. Large car park. Good for a nightstop. Warm and friendly Reception.
