Superb apartment in an excellent location. Wonderful views Very well appointed and very comfortable. Dish washer tablets and washing machine provided Krupps coffee machine a nice touch. Ideal for cycling in the area. Bike storage available. Restaurants and shops nearby. Parking nearby. Very quiet location.

“Ideal place for motorbikers or others”

7 friends,7 motorbikes and the place had all we needed, including a place to dry clothes. Just perfect. Communication with owner was superb. They are extremely helpful. Briançon as starting place to explore offroad and onroad (military road and RDGA) by motorbike is ideal. We spent 5 nights but could have stayed longer to explore more. In the evening the old center is just beautiful. Lots of places for a nice dinner. We'll be back! We forgot to take pictures of the place.... I never have a 10 for a place, but this one is worth it. Really.

The apartment is in a fantastic location and extremely comfortable. It had everything we needed for our short stay and we were met by Pete who made us feel very welcome. There are good restaurants only a few meters away in the old city and a boulangerie 5 minutes walk away that sells freshly baked croissants. The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of hiking opportunities. We would happily stay again.

“Excellent stay in a very comfortable, modern, well located apartment”

We have just returned from a great stay in Briancon. The hosts (who live in another village but own and run the lovely little cafe downstairs) were very welcoming and available. Parking was arranged nearby, and we were able to drop bags right outside on arrival. The apartment was great, with a very new kitchen with induction hob, cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washer/ dryer, and spacious. The balcony is a massive bonus, and we made use of it every day - including the Weber electric BBQ. Location wise it could not be better - moments from the main street (La Gargouille) with all the tourist shops and a small supermarket, near to several great restaurants/ cafes and just down from the main square. Pretty quiet though, especially after 10pm. And a great view, although a little obscured by (very attractive) trees growing out front - probably not an issue in the winter. Briancon itself was a great base to explore the area - especially the villages making up the Serre Chavalier ski resort. A car is essential if you want to make the most of your stay, but there are local buses too. We hired a car from Turin airport, which was about 90 minutes away (traffic dependent). Note that as explained in the descriptions of the apartment, the upper two rooms are restricted head height - kind of like cabins on a ship or sleeper train, but fitting a double or twin beds in each. Our (just under 6ft) teenagers liked them, although did complain a little at the headroom!! They are a great use of space though, and comfortable. They are also both private, each having a sliding door.

The location of the apartment in the old Citadel was perfect and The Panorama Cafe, underneath the appartment, was absolutely great for early evening food and drinks. There are many things to see and do in Briancon; it is an old historical French city and has a life completely outside the usual purpose built French ski resorts! We travelled by car and were able to ski in Serre Chevalier, Puy St. Vincent and Montgenevre in France and Sansicario, Sestriere and Sauze d'Oulx in Italy - a great and varied week!
