“Unfair treatment. Very non-negotiable. Very disappointing.”
It was impossible to get to this hotel and I found very unhelpful staff at facility. Not negotiating. Not trying to find a solution. Could not get to hotel and they would not give refund and refused to change dates so I was charged over 175 euro for nothing even though I contacted them within 2 hours of making reservation. Very unfair.

“We loved it as a family who love skiing”
The location is awesome if you love skiing and want to get on the mountain first thing. Lots of games to play which you need as you can’t go anywhere in the evening. Food is pretty good for the price and staff very friendly.

Staff was absolutely amazing. Super friendly and helpful. Great location on the slopes, ski in and out. The bed was really comfy and the sauna was a nice addition.

“A somewhat dated hotel, with the authentic charm of days gone by”
A hotel of a kind that’s no longer built. A warm, family-style welcome. The rooms are somewhat worn. The location at 2,500 m altitude right on the ski slope is truly excellent. The restaurant serves traditional Italian cuisine—nothing particularly refined, but tasty and varied. The breakfast is well taken care of.

Absolutely lovely! Hotel is right on the ski track, high into the mountain. The people there are extremely friendly. They do karaoke and sing pretty good. Amazing food, amazing view. Quiet rooms, suitable for families with small skiers.

“Exciting stay in iconic mountain setting”
The location is amazing as it is overlooked by the Matterhorn. The rooms are furnished in mountain style and the breakfast room has stunning views of the surrounding mountains.

“Amazing Experience in the Middle of the Mountain”
Lo Stambecco had most amazing personel and it was a pleasure to stay there. The food and choice of it was good. We also enjoyed the spa area where we could use jacuzzi and sauna.

“Great location but everything else was disappointing”
Perfect location as only hotel on the slopes, although noting that it's not possible to go back down to the town once the gondola stops running. Food some nights was good, enjoyed the facilities with table tennis table and sauna room. Staff were great and always friendly
