“A cosy gem close to Puy du Fou”
We chose La Belle Lurette as our base to visit Puy du Fou, which is about a 30–40 minute drive—very manageable. La Belle Lurette was great! The place is beautifully decorated, cosy, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. Pauline and Quentin were wonderful hosts—such a friendly and welcoming family who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast was delicious!! Pauline prepared amazing homemade cakes so we could try local recipes, along with a selection of honey and a variety of fruit juices. We were lucky with the weather and got to enjoy the garden and the swimming pool—super relaxing!

“Fabulous property and fantastic hosts”
What a fabulous place to stay. It is very remote, but that also means that it is lovely and peaceful. Pauline and Quentin were very friendly and welcoming. We opted to have the table d'hote evening meal - we had a fantastic meal with Pauline and Quentin and their lovely children Jules and Gabrielle. It was such a lovely evening, with lovely company - we would definitely recommend taking this option ! The room was really nice, with everything we needed. We had a nice breakfast the following morning. Pauline was also kind enough to give us some fruit to take with us on our journey. We were only here for one night to break up the journey from Caen to the Dordogne, but we were so glad to have found this little gem !

“A jewel in the rural french countryside for a short or long stay”
Location was excellent for our overnight stay on the way driving from Cherbourg to Villeneuve-sur-Lot and we enjoyed it so much that we also stayed there on the way back to Roscoff. Personally run by Quentin and Pauline, the French owners, & their two young children, and we dined, at their invitation (table d'hotes) with the family. Lovely small "Dinner, B&B" rural old house & welcome. Extremely reasonable price. Will definitely stay again.
