Stunning location with a great view. The hosts (including of the canine variety) were lovely and very happy to work with our broken German. A little bit of a windy drive from Brixen, but still an easy location.

The house is on the top of a mountain, so the mountain view is really amazing. If you are luck enough, you can see the sunsets shining on the top of the mountain.

“A beatiful stay right above Brixen”

The Winklers who own the farm and the property were absolutely lovely (and they gallantly overcame my terrible level of German). We stayed during Easter and the property was just lovely decorated with all kinds of eggs, bunnies and whatnot. The breakfast was excellent and tasty, the room was spic and span clean, beds were very comfortable. The star of our stay was the owners' dog - Nelly. I threw her a ball or two and that was enough to convince her that we're her new best friends and she must accompany us wherever we go. So we went hiking together. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning. We had a wonderful time and I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

“Comfy shelter suspended between the meadows and the alps”

Breathtaking hilltop views of the Italian alps and the town below. This alone made it a life-changing experience. They had housekeeping daily! Very friendly and helpful. Their dog liked to play fetch! Nice garden with benches and some ibex outside the fence. Wonderful included breakfast. Loved the large room. Loved the carpeted floor. Loved the free parking. Short drive from Bressanone. They had pamphlets with info about the area, and a book containing bus times if you get around by public transport. Loved the serenity. They even lent us a water kettle for coffee.

“Nice family, nice accommodation”

The owner family was very kind, nice, and helpful. They did there best effort making our accommodation comfortable. We stayed 3 nights and hope to have more.we used a Brixen card they gave and got a free transportation to some cities around. The room was wide enough for us with marvelous vew toward the valley this housing will be my best place if I come again. Thanks for Johanna and her mother Annemarie .

“The best bed and breakfast in South Tyrol”

The view at sunset was absolutely spectacular. And the farm dog will come out and you can throw a stick for her at sunset and it is absolutely surreal.

“we didn't like it”

It is not worth driving up the mountain every day, there are no extras at the accommodation. What's more: you can't use the balcony because of the stench, the room is completely basic. There are no shops or restaurants nearby, but there is not even a refrigerator that could be used.

What a wonderful place and the family Winkler are such lovely people. We had the best view ever!!!! Looking over the valley and seeing the Dolomites on the otherside. We had a room with balcony: perfect. The room and bathroom were very good, the beds also. And breakfast was perfect. The way up to Zehrehof is a little bit winding but the views are stunning. There are some walkingtracks behind Zehrehof. We would definitely go back to the family Winkler on our next visit to the Dolomites. Lots of things to explore in Bressanone. Some for free with the Brixenpas

Everything was perfect. Nice family good breakfast easy to park. Nice room with beautiful view. In the winter you should have a chains in the car❄️❄️❄️

“Pleasant stay”

The place is up on the mountain above a nearby city (brixen). The view is fantastic and it’s quiet, perfect to relax and escape from the noise of the big cities. The owners were really nice and helpful, and the breakfast was exceptional to our taste.

A minigridge/minibar would be great(this is a personal issue, not an accomodation problem-we went with a baby and would be great to keep something in a cold place). Otherwise, 5 stars for everything starting with the host, ending with the location. Thank you! Cheers!

Very good breakfast. Beautiful views. Its a little bit of a ride to get into the town but not bad. A mini fridge in the room would have been a nice feature.
