Surrounded by a large garden, on the edge of a forest, this family-run hotel in Braunlage in the Harz Mountains offers lovingly furnished rooms and a daily breakfast buffet. The Landhotel Villa Foresta invites you to relax in your country-style room, in the lovely garden, or on the cosy sofas by the open fireplace with a drink and a book from the library. The Foresta's large spa area including a hot tub, sauna (for a surcharge) and steam room also invites you to unwind. You can book a massage or cosmetic treatment session The centre of Braunlage is only 200 metres from the hotel. Extensive hiking trails as well as cross country skiing trails start right outside the hotel and lead you through the beautiful Harz nature park.

The landscape is awesome, the hotel is gorgeous, Simone is welcoming. I am really pleased I came to this place with my husband and son! I will bring my daughter here too for sure!

Very peaceful place for a rest after long drive; no problems with parking; Unesco World heritage towns -Goslar, Quedlinburg - in a half hours time by car; cable car nearby; very good breakfast.

We had a very nice stay. The breakfast was fine and the staff were very polite and spoke English when we struggled with German. The apartment was very cosy.

Stopped off here on the way back from Prague. It was a real gem of a place. We were so happy here that we stayed a second night. We were spoilt with incredible snow and could the enjoy the wonderful spa facilities after a nice long walk in the snow.

Nice comfy beds and very good breakfast. Right on the harz hexen stieg and 2 min walking from a pizzeria so perfect for hikers:)
