Overview
This hotel offers rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi and balconies overlooking the Harz Mountains. It stands in the centre of Braunlage, an 8-minute walk from the Wurmberg Gondola Lift. Hotel Carlsruh’s rooms were renovated in 2010. They feature cable TV and private bathrooms with showers. A large breakfast buffet is provided each morning in the large lounge with fireplace. Guests can eat on Carlsruh's garden terrace in warm weather. Hotel Carlsruh offers Nordic Walking poles. A heated storage room is available for bicycles and ski equipment. Guests can also simply relax in the outdoor wood sauna. The nearby Wurmberg Mountain offers ski jumps, ski slopes and snow-boarding slopes. Many hiking and cycling paths can be found close to the hotel.

“Wonderful, comfortable”
The hosts treated us wonderfully. I mentioned my allergies and they bought gluten-free bread; we couldn't have been happier. We were able to check in early and check out late. We will definitely be back; they met all of our needs. They are lovely and it's a great place.

“Lovely, cosy, traditional hotel in quiet are and close to shops with plenty onsite parking.”
The breakfast was very extensive and very nice. The restaurant in the basement was very cosy and inviting.

So homey and cute, one feels welcome and well cared for right away. I love that it is a family run establishment which of course creates a completely different atmosphere than a chain type hotel. The breakfast was amazing, beds comfy, and the view was lovely:)
