“Fantastic and unforgettable stay”
Everything! This is the second time I’ve stayed here and both times have been wonderful. The house has so much character, the rooms beautiful and comfortable with absolutely everything you could want in it. The breakfast is absolutely superb- by far the best on our trip. It really is a memorable experience to stay here

Very nice hotel in ancient building.Helpful host.Nicely decorated room, spacious bathroom.Restaurant on the site, unfortunately during our stay it was not working.Super exclusive breakfast.All in all-would love very much to stay here again.

Fabulous hotel in an old, historic mill, full of interesting paintings - very friendly and helpful staff and particularly the owner, who couldn't have done more to make us welcome. Our apartment room was spacious and comfortable, with a separate lounge. Breakfast was amazing, and couldn't have been any better in a 5-star hotel. Plenty of choice, and it would be hard to think of anything else that could have been supplied. The meal in the restaurant was particularly good. Parking was OK (but booking advisable) and our dog was made welcome too!

“Amazing!”
My favourite place that I stayed on the Rheinsteig. Extremely atmospheric and large comfortable bed. Great facilities in the room and an absolutely amazing breakfast buffet. Owners were extremely friendly and offered me a takeaway bag for a packed lunch for during the day. Can’t recommend this place enough- really amazing stay for anyone on the Rheinsteig and I will definitely return

“Very nice room but could be perfect with darker curtains and a decent pillow.”
Clean, nice specious room with enclosed patio area and parking (at additional cost). Good breakfast with plenty of choices served until 10:30. Dog friendly although we didn’t have our dog with us.
