Alex, thank you for making our three nights in Braşov unforgettable. From the moment we arrived you greeted us in flawless English, so communication was effortless and friendly. During our stay you went far beyond the usual host role: you sent us a curated list of must-see spots in Braşov with direct links. What truly sets you apart is the care you showed even after we checked out. While we were already in Sibiu you still answered our messages instantly, drafted a complete Google Maps route that took us over the spectacular Transfăgărășan Highway and on to the best viewpoints and hidden gems beyond it. That extra effort turned a good trip into a great one. Schei Residence is spotless, stylish and perfectly located, but it’s your hospitality that we’ll remember most. We’ll be back—and we’ll be sending friends!

A very cozy apartment, very clean and close to the old centre of Brasov. The hosts were very nice, always wanting us to have the best time in this place. The apartment looks exactly like in the pictures

The apartment was spacious and super clean, with everything I needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. I especially appreciated having two TVs, including one in the bedroom, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There’s also a large yard—ideal for relaxing outside or even having a barbecue, if that’s your thing. :) The hosts were friendly, attentive, and always available, making me feel truly at home. The neighborhood is both charming and picturesque, with easy access to public transportation—there’s a bus stop just a short walk away. It’s about a 15-minute walk to the Black Church, which makes for a lovely stroll through the scenic streets of Brașov. A free parking spot was also provided nearby, which is a major plus in a city like this. Overall, I had a great stay and will definitely return.

Alex is a good host, the accommodation was excellent, clean, comfortable and in a great location near the center of the old town I rate all recommendations for this accommodation 10/10

Lovely decorated, spacious studio located in a nice, quiet area of old Brasov, 20 minutes walk from the historical center. A super nice, warm host and delicious breakfast. There is also a parking spot available on the back end street, which given the area, is a true luxury. Excellent value for money so we definitely recommend Schei Residence for a comfortable stay in Brasov.

Actually breakfast was amazing, because the owners happened to be chefs, and they just spoiled us with avotoast, shakshuka, blinis, cheese platter, fresh juice - all were extremely tasty, better than in 5* hotels really. Also the host was in contact with us all the time, it is obvious that guests' experience is paramount for them. Very very clean, in a good location, warm and cosy. Thanks a lot! We would love to return.

“Exceptional Stay in Romania: Perfect Location, Stylish Apartment, and Outstanding Host”

Our stay during my trip through Romania was exceptional. From the communication with the owner, Alex, to the furnishing of the apartment, everything was top-notch. The beautiful and well-maintained garden in the courtyard is perfect for those who value privacy. In my opinion, the location is ideal, situated on the edge of the old town with excellent public transport connections. Just a few meters away, there's a bus stop with buses running every few minutes, which is great for those moments when you don't feel like walking. However, if you do choose to walk, you're only 15 minutes away from the city center. On the other side, you have access to the valley and the beginning of hiking and cycling trails leading to the Brasov Poiana resort. As for the apartment itself, everything is new and tastefully selected, furnished with style. The bed is comfortable, and the kitchen is fully equipped with all the necessary appliances, including a dishwasher, washing machine, and more. The bathroom is modern with a new shower,. Windows are equipped with mosquito nets. Alex was always reachable and provided us with many great suggestions for places to visit in the area. Overall, this was an outstanding stay, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

The apartment size is very spacious. I loved having two tvs to watch the football. The shower is wonderful. Everything was very clean. Nice big yard if you need it. The owner was always available and very helpful and friendly. The area was really nice and picturesque. There were loads of transport options and especially buses. The bed was very comfortable.

We loved everything about it. This place boasts an old and unique history, yet it has been beautifully modernized. Inside the room, you can find absolutely everything needed for a long stay. The location is perfect - situated in a very quiet area but still super close to the center and all major attractions. The owner of the place, Alexandru, is simply amazing. He helped us plan our trip and made restaurant reservations for us. All of his suggestions were beyond exceptional. This is the best place and host I have ever encountered!
