Location and check-in: The hotel was easy to find. It was on a quiet street, yet no more than 5 – 10 minutes’ walk from the touristy main square of Brasov. Around the main square were plenty of shops and restaurants. The hotel did not have a manned reception. Instructions regarding the electronic code on the front door and other details were given through messaging (in English) ahead of time. There was no lift, but my room was only one floor up. The room was not totally ready. The soap dispenser in the shower had gone empty and no one seemed to have noticed beforehand. I had to use the washbasin’s soap dispenser till the next morning when I saw an attendant. The room: The room was a comfortable size though the gap between both sides of the bed and the wall was narrow. There were no bedside tables, but there were electrical sockets on both sides of the bed. This meant that the device being charged had to be placed on the floor. Lighting was good. Wifi was good. There was heating via radiators, but there didn’t seem to be any way to individually control the temperature setting. Fortunately, the setting was perfect and so this wasn’t really an issue. There was no desk or table of desk height. There was a mini-fridge, but no kettle, so it was not possible to make coffee or tea in the room. The bed was comfortable. There was no daily housekeeping. The room was quiet but I could hear church bells every 15 minutes since my bathroom was only about 150m in a straight line from the Black Church, which was rather charming. The bathroom: The bathroom and shower stall were of adequate size. Hot water came through quickly. Water pressure was good. Drainage from the shower stall was poor; it flooded every time. No breakfast available in this hotel. There wasn’t even a kettle to make a hot cup of coffee. Of the eleven hotels I stayed in, this was one of only two hotels without a kettle.

Casa Corona is a couple minutes walk from Brasov historical center, the room was clean and the staff was available and accommodating. This is a great place to stay in Brasov.

Very nice and clean accommodation. Close to the square with private parking. There was space in the basement for coffee and playground for their little friends. The floor of the room needs renovation as it creaked when walked on.

Fantastic. Our host was exceptional giving us all of the relevant information before check in and the apartment itself was located right in the heart of the Brasov Old Town, only a short stroll from the square. It was very comfortable, spacious and modern. We were actually sad that we only had one night here and would have loved to have stayed longer. Highly recommend and will definitely use again should we be visiting Brasov in the future.

Location was very good near center. The owner explain us everything and helped us with the dentist I need it. The motorbike was parked inside. We can also prepared a cofee in the morning. He borrowed us umbrellas because it was rainy.
