“Nice apartment, but problematic hosts dealing with issues”

The apartment was spacious and clean. The flat I stayed in was well-lit in a newly built neighbourhood within easy reach of shops and restaurants. Also, it was very close to the airport.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, and the location was excellent and very convenient. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and good value for money.

We really liked everything about this accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised by the fresh scent immediately upon entering the apartment. The place is clean, beautiful, modern, and includes a parking spot, which we appreciated. Communication with the host of appartment was also excellent. Everything was clearly and concisely explained through WhatsApp messages, so we had no issues at all. Nothing to complain about.

“No electricity without warning and complete lack of responsibility from the host.”

Unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. I booked the apartment for two nights and had only one full day in Brașov. At 9:00 AM, the electricity was completely shut off. Only after that did the host inform me that there were scheduled power outages from 9:00 to 4:00, which she knew about in advance but did not inform me before check-in, despite the fact that we were in contact the evening before. As a result, I had no hot water, no possibility to take a shower, make tea or food, dry my hair, or properly get ready, essentially losing my only day in the city. Additionally, the apartment has a gas stove, but no matches or lighter were provided. When I asked how to use it without electricity, I was told there was a button — which obviously does not work without power. After that, my messages were ignored, and no help or solution was offered. I asked for any form of compensation, but the host completely refused to take responsibility. The only compensation I received was from Booking, not from the property owners. Also, the listing states “mountain view”, but in reality the apartments are located in different buildings within a complex, and there is no mountain view at all — only windows facing neighboring buildings. I find this attitude toward guests unacceptable. Lack of basic conditions, no prior warning, and no responsibility from the host — this is not the level of service one expects for this price.

Locating the apartment within a large estate of apartment blocks was not easy. A map would have helped!

Clean and tidy apartment, big kitchen, comfortable bed. Welcomy, spacious room and hallway, big balcony. Quiet building. Paper towels in the kitchen. All in all, we had a pleasant stay. Great host, responds instantly, very helpful and proactive. Kudos!

Very clean. Comfortable bed. Nice kitchen. Cozy bathroom with washing machine. I really enjoyed staying there. Also the owner was very helpful. Parking spot that we could use. Cool new naberhood with some shops and restaurants.

A modern apartment located near a 24-hour supermarket and with excellent transport links to the city. The interior was spacious, the area was quiet, and we slept very comfortably.

Very nice looking apartment with a large balcony and everything you might need for a few days stay. The area is also very nice close enough to many shops and we were also given a parking slot in front of the flat.
