“The only place to stay, we loved it!”

This is the place to stay if you want to visit Brailito or Conchal (a short walk away). The hotel is charming and has a local vibe and it’s right by the beach. Treat yourself to on if the two rooms with balcony and ocean view. The restaurant is operated separate from the hotel and it has great food and breakfast from early.

“Nothing fancy but good vibe and option to spend a short time right next to Playa Brasilito/Conchal”

The hotel is right on playa brasilito and just a short walk to the more beautiful playa conchal. There is a hotel restaurant with some good options at decent prices and two sodas right next door for even more options. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. There is AC and fans in the room (plenty of kitchen stuff in family room), the pool is nice, and howler monkeys hang out in the trees right behind the property in the mornings. Small town local vibe.

Walkable to town, but not much in town. Very close to the beach, but lots of garbage around the beach.

no hot water, this should be advertised clearly as these days (in Costa Rica) when booking a hotel it is assumed hot water exists Brasilito beach is dirty and not pleasant to walk around on alone or with kids.

“An extremely noisy place.”

The first night, our sleep was disrupted by a television in the restaurant below, which was playing at an extremely high volume, making it impossible to rest. On the second night, we arrived in the evening, only to find that a festival was taking place right across from the hotel—something we had not been informed about in advance. The noise level in our room was so extreme that sleeping was out of the question. We approached the reception, as our son was becoming extremely stressed by the noise, but the young woman at the desk simply rolled her eyes and told us that the festival would continue until early morning. As our son was severely affected by the noise, we had no choice but to find another hotel late at night, which we fortunately managed to do. In the following days, we sent three messages to the hotel with a formal complaint and a request for maybe a 50% refund, as we had not used their facilities. However, we have received no response.

Location very close to playa conchal, and could hear the waves from the beach right across the road.. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff were nice.

“Very nice and simple Hotel near the beach”

Very near to the beach, very nice staff, good food in the restaurant and a nice pool. They gave us very good recommendations for restaurants nearby and the playa conchal is a 15min walk along the beach away. The staff was very helpful with everything. Very calm and not many tourists in low season.

Great location in walking distance to Playa Conchal but at the same time feeling more local than touristy. Staff was very kind.

fantastic location for getting to playa conchal. there are loads of places to eat near by. we would recommend Olas for food! the grounds are nicely kept and the pool was clean. AC was good.

There was no breakfast available, despite the write up saying there was. The restaurant closed at approx 7pm so we had to find alternative eating and drinking places. The only good point was its location to the beach.

Very good service from thé entrance to exit, very clean room, gardiens,swimming pool,restaurant We especially liked thé mix of tourists and Ticos at the hotel and in town of Brasilito Makes for a very happy atmosphere

“Old style on the beach”

I liked the location in terms of close to the beach and surrounded by local bars and sodas. Big room with a small desk and a cupboard with a safe.

The receptionist Bryan was a very welcoming, caring and well organised host, and so i could check in a little earlier, which i really appreciate. I had just one Night stay, but i really felt holiday Vibes in the hotel:) Next to my room, which i could cool down by aircondition, if needed, there was a Pool and just 50m to the Brasilto Beach. just a 20min walk is to recommend, because there You will find the wonderful Playa Chonchal, which was my goal for this Trip this time. Breakfast would have been included, and Bryan offered me Coffee, which i definitely have to try next time. :) Thank You very much for your hospitality :)
