Lovely room with balcony over river. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Bikes locked in garage. Manager opened garage at 6.30 so we could leave early. Wonderful stay. Amazing staff.

The hotel is well situated in the centre of town and our room had a great view over the terrace and the river. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable, but there was no facility for making coffee or tea. The furnishings and decoration to the hotel are faded and tired – it has definitely seen better days. The breakfast was copious with a good choice of food, both Continental and English, on the buffet sideboard.

“A disappointing stay.”
The location was excellent but our room was in the annex which is not what we expected and not part of the hotel. We had booked through Booking .com and there was no mention that the room was in the annex. We therefore did not have the experience previous review’s have indicated.

The location is excellent with beautiful rivers views, the room was nice and spacious. All staff were fantastic, very professional, they deserve an outstanding rate. And the food, was amaaaaazing!
