“Fantastic villa in a lovely scenery!”
Fantastic villa on top of a hill. The villa has a nice garden and we very much enjoyed the evenings in the patio. Since the moment we booked our stay, the hosts had even installed two saunas and a larger swimming pool, which was great news for the kids! Nice location for biking and walking, as well as for excursions to Lipica, Ljubjana, Predjama, Postojna,... There were only two things that surprised us: we had some very hard winds and (thunder)storms during the night, and the church bells 130 times at 6AM, 3PM and 8PM (and a bit more on Sundays). But you get used to it :-)

“A very comfortable house with splendid views and amenities (private sports court, private pool).”
The house is nicely renovated, spacious, and very well equiped. The rooms, bathrooms, sheets etc were spotless. It's on top of a hill and offers great privacy. The outdoor spaces are amazing, we spent most of our days between the grass sports court (volleyball, badminton, football, table tennis....) and the terrace. Our children enjoyed the small pool.

What an amazing spot! We loved everything about our stay at Villa Katerina...the views, the pool, the bbq area. The house is so well equipped, we didn't want for anything. The spot is at the end of the road (except for the church which I don't believe has services any more) and the privacy was basically complete. 5 stars, and we'll likely be back

“Hidden gem in the Vipava valley”
Perfect for a relaxed vacation in the countryside. The villa has recently been renovated, and offers a comfortable stay for the whole family, in a quiet hilltop area overlooking the Vipava valley. The highway is about 10min away, and the area is known to have good restaurants with locally-sourced food and wine, with the nearest one just a kilometer away. The very pleasant hosts also have a restaurant, which is about 5min away from the villa. The building itself is splendid, tastefully decorated, with many interesting details. The pool comes handy on hot summer days. Accessed through a short walk (10 meters) through the garden, there is also a lovely small playing field surrounded by the forest, offering a chance to play badminton, volleyball, and other games, or just to relax in a natural environment. Overall, we can warmly recommend Villa Katarina, and also, we plan to return here in the near future.
