“A nightmare and unpleasant place to me with not straight forward people”

I don't like the property for anything. Right from the day I checked in, I observed a ritualistic flower on main door mouth and prior to that received a strange message not previously stated that I am not allowed to wear my shoes to the house, which I consider strange to a condition maybe religious attached to entering a public place paid for. I am not a Buddhist and don't think I should be forced to practice and observed the religious doctrines . On the whole, the management were so unrealistic and inconsiderate, with the way they handled my late checkout which after a lot of persuasion was extended for extra 2 hours, to my greatest surprise, even if they were to charge penalty fees of $20 per every extra hour, they should not have charged more than $40 but they were asking for $100 dollars which I objected to vehemently and advise booking. Com not to release any money from my account to them. The reason given for wanting to collect penalty fees which was earlier waived was on a false accusation of being rude. I never had any verbal conversation until the last day when I was requesting for late check out. I was never rude to the two people I spoke with, all my interactions were done in writing a message through their platform which is easily verifiable. My stay was not pleasant and so many distractions and bad policies in place. A bad experience and I will never go back there or advised anyone to stay, in actual fact for being a religious bigot and mixing religious sentiments and ethnic ideology with bussiness they should be removed from Booking. Strip mall nearby which was convenient. Room was clean and other guests were quiet. I liked that we had to leave our shoes at the entrance. Nice to have a mini bar fridge and microwave in the room. With some exceptions at night the house was quiet overall. The neighbourhood itself is very nice and I felt safe walking at night. Far from downtown and VIA Rail station but close to cemetery, which was my primary destination. The bus to a Brampton transit terminal is nearby, although two bus trips are required to get downtown.
