Right spot for travel around Muskoka

The location was good

Loved our view of the falls. The restaurant has lots of options and the Staff were friendly and professional. We have been to Basilico several times and will go again!

“Lovely Victorian Inn in Bracebridge.”

This hotel is centrally located wihin walking distance of downtown Bracebridge and walking trails. The staff are very friendly and professional. We were accommodated in a lovely ground level room with a view to avoid taking the stairs as there is no elevator. Guests are invited to use the sitting area in the main building to relax, read a book or to watch TV. I appreciated not being confined to our room in the evening and enjoyed the homey atmosphere in the old Victorian house. There is also an excellent Italian restaurant (Basilico) on site. We enjoyed delicious food along with a view overlooking the lake. Self serve continental breakfast in the morning was quite nice as well. All the food was very well organized. I would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

“A lovely evening at Inn on the Falls”

We were welcomed by Jane when we checked in. We were then shown to our room which was an upgrade. Thank you. It was a lovely spacious room with a balcony and great view over the garden and falls. We were also given a list of pubs and restaurant in the town. We used The Griffin. Fabulous home cooked food and an amazing choice of beers.

The location to the falls is your asset, Through our room windows we could see the falls and hear it at night, beautiful. The Inn is old but stately,

Coffee and toast etc in the morning was a lovely start to the day, thank you!

no one at the front desk half hour before late check inn...room door only key is a real estate lock box on the door knob of your room?...instuctions on text message that still didnt open the lock box ...like really who wants to deal with this after a 3 hr drive?....we found the innkeeper rude prettymuch telling me it was my fault that i couldnt open the lock box...ended up just leaving finding better customer service not far away and still got charged for the night...thx for the memories
