The location is great — right at the entrance of the village, easy to find and convenient. The restaurant was solid, and the included breakfast was excellent.

“Pleasant ethno accommodation at the end of a beautiful village”

At the end of the fairy-tale village lies this picturesque accommodation. The rooms are clean, with a balcony, contain everything you need. The restaurant offers lots of Bulgarian food, you can have delicious banica and yoghurt for breakfast. Breakfasts are from 9am and if you leave earlier, like us, you get breakfast packed for your trip. In the evening or in the morning before breakfast you can walk through the quiet and beautiful village with its typical white houses with stone roofs and wonder what it must have been like a hundred years ago when almost 350 people still lived here, while today there are only 30 and the village has become a small open-air museum.

Great location, in the heart of the village. Big comfy rooms, with large windows so you can enjoy the nature and hear the birds singing. Friendly staff and good food.

Everything was superb ... and quiet, which was exactly what I was looking for. The restaurant food was excellent, the service flawless. I really enjoyed my 6 nights there.

I’ve stayed in hundreds of places around the world but I never felt more at home that I did when I stayed at the Strannopriemnitsata! Its name literally means “a place that accepts all strangers” and I can truthfully say that the guest house embodies its name! I couldn’t recommend it enough!

The location was stunning. Quiet village, beautiful old buildings. The rooms were clean and beds very comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs and the food was outstanding. All fresh salads, vegetables and fish. Breakfast was simple but also delicious. Staff were friendly and polite and we loved the cats playing around the property.
