The cottage overlooks a beautiful lake with swans on. The location is very peaceful and hidden away in the countryside. There were lots of small touches in the house which made you feel welcome, such as the way each room was so carefully maintained, games for children and clear instructions about how to use the facilities.

April 2024. Beautiful location. Exceptionally clean. Stylish conversion. Every comfort provided - well equipped kitchen, comfortable seating and beds, central heating plus solid fuel burners. Information provided on how everything worked. One small issue arose which was dealt with by the owner immediately. Lots of parking. Stayed in many UK and Eire self catering properties over the years. Definitely in top three.

“A little slice of Heaven”
Everything, beautiful cottage. Every little detail within was so carefully thought out to ensure our stay felt like a 5* hotel (albeit self catering). The beds were sumptuous & so comfy. The kitchen was better equipped than my own with coffee machine, microwave, George Foreman, blender, smoothie maker, washing machine. A beautiful welcome hamper was there on arrival complete with wine, chocolate, crisps & snacks. The cottage also had milk, OJ, butter, coffee, numerous tea options and plenty of dried herbs & spices for cooking. Beautiful Newbridge & Ainsley Delph in the kitchen. The cottage was rustic, yet modern with high quality bathroom items including Voya soap. The sitting room had 2 large sofas with plenty of fluffy cushions & blankets if you got cold. There was slso a stove with fuel provided. The cottage is very well kept, brightly painted & absolutely spotless. Our host text on the evening of our arrival to make sure we had settled in & to see if we needed anything. Picturesque Lakeside location. It truly felt like heaven on earth.
