Motel Maroondah is a home-from-home in a superb location opposite Kingsly Gardens, with tram and bus connections close by. It is a 10-minute walk to Box Hill Train Station. All air-conditioned rooms feature a private balcony, TV, microwave, refrigerator, toaster and tea and coffee maker. Free car parking is provided. Wireless internet with unlimited downloads can be accessed at a small extra cost. Guest laundry and ironing facilities are available.

The downstairs area near the staircase leading to the first-floor rooms has a odor that makes walking through the area incredibly unpleasant.. Also haven't provide cutleries, only few tea spoons. One plate. Two different types of cups.

I booked pet friendly hotel paid on booking com when I arrived they wanted $100 for deposit for pet I have disability my Shadow 🐾 is my therapy companion animal My everything and goes where I go I was put in room up 20 stairs and next door to the property manager who called me at midnight abused hell out of me then banged on door and walls also was horrible my so called friend took my car said they be back in 10min 9.5hrs later he returned to motel not happy

The mattress was stained, the a/c was dirty. The hot water ran hot and cold. It was under renovations and very noisy. The owner was rude. He came to our room at asked for the 3rd bed for another room and came in and took it. We paid a deposit of $50 for the key because they have so many go missing. We had this refunded back. Overall it was terrible room but in a good location

On a tram route and was inexpensive and available on a very busy weekend. Staff were friendly and helpful
