Overview
Briars Country Lodge is located in Bowral, 6 minutes' drive from The International Cricket Hall of Fame and Bradman Oval. All rooms have a flat-screen TV with over 100 free cable channels. Each of the air-conditioned rooms include a refrigerator, a toaster and tea/coffee making facilities. All include an en suite bathroom with a shower and free toiletries. Some accommodation offers a fully equipped kitchen and a lounge area. A guest laundry is also provided.

“A peaceful Southern Highlands retreat that was the perfect setting to reconnect with old friends!”
We recently stayed at Briars Country Lodge while attending our 30-year reunion dinner at the Briars Restaurant, and it was the perfect choice. The accommodation felt much more like a private retreat than a standard hotel room. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, with lovely French doors opening directly onto the gardens. Waking up to views of the ducks on the dam and the peaceful water feature created a wonderfully relaxing country atmosphere. One of the biggest advantages was the location. It was an easy stroll to the restaurant for our reunion dinner, which made the evening completely stress-free. At the same time, the lodge is tucked away in a peaceful setting, yet only a short distance from Bowral's shopping precinct and attractions. The combination of comfort, beautiful surroundings, convenience and country charm made our stay truly memorable. In fact, the weekend was such a success that our group has already been inspired to plan more catch-ups, with another gathering pencilled in for September. We would happily return and highly recommend Briars Country Lodge to anyone visiting the Southern Highlands.

We truly enjoyed our stay and the lodge was absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere was relaxing and made for a lovely getaway. The only small suggestion would be to expand the buffet breakfast selection, as the choices felt a little limited. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

Lovely private room with a full window and glass door to give a full view of the lake and garden. Rooms were pre warmed with hydroponic radiators. Nice and quiet location no road noise.
