Nothing. Upon arrival I was located in a different, filthy apartment, I haven't booked. I only found out when I got there, so I had no choice, but to stay there, even though I paid extra for the sea front apartment. So if you decide to stay in the apartment, you have no guarantee that it will be the one you've booked. Photos are not showing the actual conditions.

We spent two fantastic weeks at Villa Tripepi in Bova Marina and it exceeded all our expectations. The apartment is incredibly spacious, bright, and thoughtfully designed, with stunning views that made every morning feel special. Whether we were relaxing on the balcony or inside, the sea and surrounding scenery were a constant delight. The apartment was very well equipped – we had everything we needed for a comfortable, home-like stay, from a full kitchen to all the little details that make a difference. Cleanliness and functionality were top-notch throughout. The proximity to the station was very convenient to travel around. What really made our holiday perfect, though, was the exceptional communication and hospitality from the host, David. He was responsive, helpful, and genuinely went out of his way to ensure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to him (and the warm, welcoming people of Bova), we felt truly cared for and at ease the entire time. Bova and its locals left a lasting impression on us – the authentic atmosphere, kindness, and charm of the area turned our trip into something truly memorable. We fell in love with the place and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a relaxing, authentic Calabrian getaway!

Our appartment was large and airy, which was well equipped, clean and functional. Balcony is superb for catching the sun. Host very welcoming. Highly recommended.

I stayed in this apartment for two weeks and, to be honest, after reading some of the previous reviews, I didn’t know what to expect. However, my experience turned out to be very positive. We arrived from the airport at around 1 a.m., and the owner was there waiting for us. He was very helpful and welcoming, which we really appreciated after a long journey. The apartment is equipped with all the essential amenities, making our stay comfortable. Considering the reasonable price I paid for the stay, my expectations were fully met. The sea view was the cherry on top. I would gladly come back and can honestly recommend this place to anyone looking for good value for money

The Sea View

Very good price for a beautiful apartment by the sea. The owner was very friendly

We just atayed for the night doing a motor bike trip Check in was easy, we had private parking for the motorcycles. The house is being renovated ( i hope) , it was clean and had the basics that matched the price we paid The house is right infront of the beach with a spectacular view. A recomended property to stay

The location is perfect, just across the see promenade from the beach (town center is also very close, as is the railway - but it's surprisingly quiet), there is a very nice garden, an the host was extremely accommodating.

“The booked apartment was rented out to other people!”

When we showed up, the booked apartment wasn’t available. It was rented out to other people! We hadn’t been informed in advance, just were presented with the fact on arrival. We were offered a small 1-bedroom-apartment on the ground floor without any view instead. The explanation was that the party staying in our apartment booked it for a longer period whereas we only had booked it for a week. Excuse me?! The host might argue that he offered a discount, but that’s not didn’t feel like a compensation at all. Luckily I’ve got family nearby who went out of their way to organise another apartment spontaneously so that we didn’t have to stay in this cramped ground floor apartment.

Location and value for money.

Owners were friendly. Location was superb for sea lovers. Facilities were good.

“Spectacular view!”

The location directly across from the beach as wonderful and the sound of the ocean surf very soothing. The place is simple, but feels spacious and has two large balconies, both overlooking the sea.

The hosts are amazing + unbelievable how well they host such a large spectrum of guests of different dialects.
