The location, amenities and flexibility of the staff were outstanding and indeed created a cocoon for full relaxation! We especially appreciated the exceptional service of the main waiter who seemed to be doing the lion's share of the work ensuring all tables were served with a personal touch.

Lovely hotel on the river with a fabulous view of the castle. Staff very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Very comfortable room, large with a great view of the castle and river. Bed was large and comfy. Bathroom had a twin shower, yes 2 separate showers in the same enclosure, and was huge. Great breakfast with fabulous selection of hot and cold food. Nice to have sauna, steam room to relax in after a days walking in the great wooded countryside in the region. Hotel well set up for hiking in the area. We used the hotel for 2 nights doing the Lee Trail. Accommodation is limited on the linear trail route and hotel offered a shuttle service to take us back to Hoscheid. Restaurant at hotel was also very nice for evening meal.

Cocooned away surrounded by forest and river, this is a dream hotel! Loved the peaceful atmosphere, the greenery all around, the hiking trails, the abundant breakfast and the room itself.

The area was beautiful; great woods to hike in. The breakfast was fantastic and the rooms were cosy. The cafe and their resturant were fantastic!

“Disappointing Stay Despite a Promising Appearance”

At first glance, this seemed like a beautiful place to stay. You can see the castle from the doorstep of the cottage. The riverside setup looked stylish and inviting, and it also had a tennis court. The place appears quiet at first glance, just as the photos posted on the website suggest. The cottage itself screams luxury. I love the jacuzzi and the modern look of the interior.
