“A great stay in Le Petit Havre”

The view! The hotel should be renamed the View as the view doesn't get any better than this. There was everything you needed from air-conditioned bedrooms to a well-equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a rainshower. The bedrooms were simple but beautifully decorated and the beds were as comfortable as clouds as were the pillows. Mosquito nets were also provided. Parking available on site. Hosts were friendly and accomodating and strangely enough you almost started understanding French when listening to the host :). There was a lovely-looking pool on the premises that we did not use because we prefer swimming in the ocean. Location is great right next to the famous Malendure beach and not a long car ride away from Grande Anse which is excellent for swimming laps or beach walks. Overall, we were surprised how beautiful and lush Basseterre is and must come back to spend more time on it and explore the sights and hikes amidst the rainforest. This time we spent more time on Grande Terre which is also beautiful but much more crowded.
