“First impressions were good but service in the restaurants was average at best, a bit disappointing”
Really interesting decor, detailed info about the local history and individual people from the area. Access to pool. Easy access to the restaurants.

Staying at McMenamin’s for a night was comfortable, convenient, and gave my partner and I time to explore a couple of the bars and restaurants. There are a lot of amenities here and I could see myself going back and enjoying the experience differently.

“For the most part, we enjoyed that it was different than your typical hotel stay.”
We did not have breakfast there but enjoyed the free morning coffee. We also enjoyed the whiskey tasting in the Shed when we arrived the first night. Had dinner & drinks in the Tiki Bar too. I loved that we did not need to leave the 'school grounds' the first night we arrived.

“Perfect for weekend getaway but not for a longer stay as business traveler”
It's a comfy environment and I can see this is as great hotel for a weekend getaway. The atmosphere is very friendly and family friendly. It's nicely decorated. very friendly staff
