It felt very cozy and was a nice quiet place to start and end the day. I liked the place and the great location, however I was in the first floor. The breakfast was good and had enough choices for different situations. It provides all the comfort and necessities for people who will be out and about in the city and not inside the room.

The guest house was located in a quiet, residential street, fairly close to a metro station, which was convenient. There were several restaurants and bars nearby, which was useful after a busy day sightseeing/exploring etc. The guest house was clean and it was nice to have breakfast available each day.

Location was approximately 25 minute walk from sights downtown. But perfectly walkable with several roads offering different experiences and interesting features (Newbury- high end designer shops, Commonwealth- old affluent brown brick houses) leading to the area. Guesthouse in a vibrant student area. Room was on small side(already knew that when booking- but perfectly adequate) Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and everything needed to set up day.

Oasis Guest House was my first introduction to Boston and the staff were absolutely lovely. I arrived via the Logan Express bus stopping at Back Bay from Logan Airport, and the staff at the front desk helped me carry my bags up the stairs without prompting, which was very, very kind. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was spotless. I slept like a baby, and the breakfast spread was simple but good. Great location in a fantastic part of Boston, would highly recommend :)

This place lives up to its name: a true oasis, very well located. I took the room with a shared bathroom and remembered my student days. Everything was perfect and clean. It was a trip down memory lane.
