A cozy old house with everything you need, great location, and an amazing host.

Excellent experience! The accommodation was cozy, warm, and impeccably clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed. The location is strategic, with a supermarket just a few steps away—ideal for any necessity. The host was extremely kind and helpful. A big plus: it’s pet-friendly! I stayed with my two dogs, and we felt completely at home. We’ll gladly return!

The accommodation is a beautiful wooden building with amenities and a lots of charm, The location is super central on the Lofoten and you even have the viking museum nearby.

Charming and cosy Little house ! The owner was very helpfull. Very well located central between Reine and Svolvaer. Vikingmuseum at 300 meter, SPAR at 400 meter. Eggum 'beach' 8 km (for sunset or mid-summer).

Very central stay in the Lofoten islands, it seems close to everywhere we meant to go. Comfortable and cozy house, good place to stay if you want to spend a few days travelling the isles.

“A fabulous "little house"”

What a fabulous "little house." We had a warm welcome from our hosts, and the house was lovely and warm. The best description of the house I can think of is "quaint." It had a lovely little kitchen, a lounge, a bathroom, and a single bed in an alcove off the bathroom (but not in it). Beds two and three were in a loft room, which had very limited headroom, especially for 6ft 1inch guys, and a steep set of stairs, but the beds were large and comfortable. We had a great stay and would highly recommend Nordlandshus ved Lofotr

Host was very friendly and helpful. Communication was excellent. Location is perfect for exploring the area.

Sensational location - off the main road, close to all the attractions on Vestvågøy, and walking distance to Lofotr Vikingmuseum. Beautiful view. Atmospheric and comfortable cottage, with everything you need. Jan is a very hospitable host - helpful in all matters. We would be happy to return again :-)

Incredible location. Ease of access. Great host(s), who were very friendly in helping out. There's plenty of room for everyone and the kitchen has sufficient tools to prepare your own meals. The curtains were good enough to block out most of the sunlight in the bedrooms.

The house was WONDERFUL! It is my very favourite airbnb accommodation ever. A traditional Lofoten house, modernized in a very stylish way, in the middle of nature, but next to the main road at Lofoten - - and next to the superb Viking Museum! And the hosts were very friendly and helpful :). We really hope to come back one day, for a longer time <3!

“A charming and comfortable ancient house to visit Vestvagoy island from”

We loved the cozy atmosphere and the character of this ancient house. It is ideal in size for 2 or 3 people, and quite well equipped. Although it is just about 80 m away from the main road, we had no worries with noise because the bedroom window opens onto the side, and windows are of good quality. The house is ideally located on Vestvagoy island, litterally within sight of the very interesting Viking museum and within easy reach of the Arctic ocean beaches at Unstad and Eggum (sea kayaking possible) and the beautiful hike up Blatinden from Slydalen. For shopping, there is a supermarket nearby and Leknes is just some 20 min. away (thanks to the main road).
