“Very recommendable, cosy and comfortable.”
A charming old house in a remote and wonderfully quiet area in the mountains, but close to Leknes (by car) and the Viking museum. Very spacious, and equipped with all you need, cosy and comfortable. Perhaps not for frail people as the sleeping rooms are accessible through a rather steep stair. Great and very friendly host / manager who was immediately available to answer any questions. Ideal for a retreat and for those who like nature and hiking.

“Extraordinary”
Without this house my Norwegian experience would not be complete. If one wants to get the feeling of "real Norway", one just have to rent this place. The beauty of the surronding mountains, the quietness of the valley, sheeps walking around freely - a fairytale come true. Loved every moment there.

“Awesome place, so lovely!”
We loved this lodge so much! It's everything you re looking for when booking such a place. It's in the middle of nowhere, but only 7 mins from the main road, so perfect for Northern lights! You have direct accèss to hikes literraly in the garden. The kitchen is huge and have everything you need to cook. We loved it and will come back!
