“Amazing staying at the pension”

Our staying at the pension was amazing. The owner when we arrived offered us green tea and rice wine that he makes. He also offered to bring us by car at the entrance of the tea field and asked what we wanted for dinner. He cooked for us a very good soup with noodles, we spoke a lot and had a pleasant dinner. I really recommend this place if you want to find Korean traditions and a place where you can rest.

“Great place to stay!”

Such a warm and friendly welcome from the hosts. This is a great place to stay, the chalets are clean and comfortable. The location is good for places to visit,ten minutes from the beach and plenty of fish restaurants. Our host,a professional chef,made us delicious authentic Korean food while we were there. I would highly recommend a stay here. The location is beautiful and peaceful.

The area is beautiful and calm, and the host is incredibly kind. He made me breakfast and asked what my favourite korean dish is so he could cook it for dinner. The room was also clean and comfortable. I will definitely come back to this place in the future when I visit Korea again. I highly recommend this place for solo travelers if you want to see the peaceful countryside in Korea. I am so grateful to have met these kind people.

“Chance to experience a slice of Korean country life”

Staying at the Pension is a chance to experience a slice of Korean country life, with generous hosts and a lovely location. The views and extensive gardens make it a destination in itself, but you can also arrange to eat breakfast and dinner with the hosts to get a taste of real Korean food. Much of what you are served is grown and prepared on the property. If you don't have a car, it is an ₩11,000 taxi ride from Boseong Station. There is also a local bus that makes getting to the main tea plantations and Yulpo Beach an easy task provided you have a T-Money card. (Don't remember if they take cash payments.)

Overall ok. But you need a car to do sightseeing and reach the place.

Amazing location and atmosphere as well as great host! The host cooked a very tasty home cooked traditional Korean dinner and breakfast. Highly recommended place to stay.

Views, silence, garden, hospitality and kindness of owner (fresh homemade tea and rice wine, pure meals cooked with love and products from own garden). Very close to tea plantation and Yulpo Beach.

“Peacefull and really well located, hosts are really great”

All the hosts were really kind and nice with us. The keys have been taken on the reception desk and it is possible to eat a Ramen for the first night but we choosed to move on the city for the diner. The breakfast has been taken with the hosts in the morning it was a typical korean breakfast we could admire the landscape and the story of the hosts, it was really peacefull and with a great discussion. It was really a good memories to stay there.

“GREAT HOST! Lovely place to stay and enjoy Boseong area”

The proximity to the green tea plantations and the hospitality of the host. The host served us green tea from his farm and cooked breakfast himself as he worked as a chef previously. He doesn’t speak much English but used google translate to communicate. Highly recommended if you want a more local experience with a friendly host.

“Most hospitable hosts and a beautiful location”

The hosts were most hospitable, inviting me for breakfast and showing me around the area. The location was both beautiful and strategic. I'd definitely stay again!

“Nice location, but bad and unclear communication with the host.”

The location was really nice being surrounded by the mountains and the view on the alley. It was a quiet room and we had everything from basic equipment that was needed in a very big room.

We were received with a cold green tea and given access to our accomodation before the actual check-in time which facilitated our stay in the region as we could leave our backpacks and continue to Daehan Dawon Green Tea Farm. The only major problem with had in Boseong was understanding bus arrival time. Also, the bus stop for the Tea Farm isn't specificaly indicated which complicated the transport. The bus driver notheless, once he had missed us, came back to pick us up ! :) Not related to the accomodation which was great!

“Cosy, peaceful and warm”

The most beautiful houses that look like little mushrooms on the mountain. The views surrounding the property was beautiful - the paddy fields were in a golden hue. The host is the kindest and most generous soul. I felt like I was welcomed into a family home, not a hotel!

“Wonderful time. We were driven to see the local Green Tea Plantation and the local bus station.”

The breakfast was a cooked traditional Korean breakfast. This was fine for us, Others may need to enquire about a "traditional Korean breakfast" as they may not know it's content. We truly hope to receive our host into our home if / when he comes to Australia!

“Friendly owner and great location”

The owner and his staff are super friendly. He invited us for a Korean breakfast, tea and drinks and shared his experiences. The setting is very scenic and they produce their own special wine. The pension is very close to the famous Boseong tea plants as well as Yulpo beach.

The host was very friendly. They treated with wine upon arrival. They even made us a specific dish for breakfast after asking us what our favorite Korean dish is. The area is relaxing and beautiful.
