A beautiful place in an incredible setting on a mountainside overlooking Borobudur. Well conceived and designed. Very peaceful. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.

The location is great , but it’s sad that it’s hazy due to the farmers burning , if not it would have been exceptional . We were given the newer villas by the pool , which was great . Overall a very quiet resort as most people are out on day tours . Room was very clean & comfortable. Nice little area to sit on the balcony and a thoughtful drying rack was provided.

“Lovely stay close to Borobudur”

Lovely location, really kind staff and the ideal base to explore Borobudur and visit the temple, as there’s a free shuttle. We were made feel welcome from the arrival, greeted with a refreshing welcome drink.

“Incredible views with the loveliest people”

I loved it here. Amazing location with the most gorgeous viewpoints everywhere - the pools, the restaurant, a huge terrace in my room. I also had an incredible massage during a thunderstorm with the sound of rain in the background, it was heavenly. My favourite part was the people working at the hotel. I travelled solo and they made me feel so welcome and safe and helped organise tours etc. The surrounding villages are also so friendly and there is lots to explore. It’s the perfect spot for visiting Borobudur or for recharging surrounded by nature.

View is amazing as are the staff. Really lovely! The rooms were great and cleverly done with all the hooks and latches to keep doors closed and cool air in when wanted. Meals were yummy and teatime was a great addition

Our Villa had absolute privacy, a view that was more than exceptional, generous sized private pool, and lovely cool mountain air. The bedrooms were air-conditioned, so we closed them up at night. They could be opened up during the day.

The hilltop location was breathtaking, amazing views across the valley and the sounds of the place waking up carried up the hill during sunrise. The hotel provided a shuttle bus down the steep hill to the town, and to the nearby Borobudur Temple, which was much appreciated. The staff were very helpful and attentive without being intrusive, the food was great and the pool was beautiful. The whole place was kept very tidy and clean.

Beautiful location. Great views esp from the infinity pool which is stunning. V peaceful , (the call to prayer quite charming) , friendly accommodating staff. Beautiful (tho subtle) nature sounds all around (morning and evening - birds) and very relaxing to be away from the main town. Shuttle bus available when you need it. Certainly a room with a view !

The scenery was excellent and location was good for visiting the Borobudur Historic site. Hotel staff were very accommodating to special request upon booking. The SPA was good. I liked the stay there.
