Everything was as described and absolutely spotless! We also had access to a washing machine which was super helpful. Renting a scooter was also very easy! Steve was very friendly and helpful. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend this lovely hostel to everyone!

Right in village and rice fields. Free bike to explore and washing machine. All kitchen facilities Abd comfortable private room. Nice showers, toilets and garden area

One of the nicest hostels I have ever stayed in. Rama is the best host - always making sure that you are having a great time. You can rent bikes for free to explore the beautiful nature around. The temple is only a short bike ride away.

“So grateful I found this place!”
I had such a great time at Social Ducks that I extended my stay from 2 days to 3 weeks! I loved everything about the hostel, the team was truly genuine and the place very cosy. Being there felt like being home... After 1 year of traveling in Asia, I can easily say that it was my favorite place to stay and one of the highlights of my trip! I really would like to thank Rama and Maya for taking care of us so well, every single day, and wish them the best of luck in their many beautiful projects.

Perfect place to stay if visiting Borobudur and other places in and around Magelang. Rama is one of the best hostel owners I have met, having travelled across 33 countries. The hostel is very new and I hope it will become even better.
