Meals were basic. The location of our room/hillside cabin was SUPER. We looked straight over at the Borobudur site across the valley. Staff were exceptionally polite and helpful and provided a spare charger for my phone. We paid for breakfast twice - as part of our stay at Manohara however it was also provided as part of the Borobudur sunrise ticket. As part of the ticket it was quite reasonable however it was only passable as a hotel paid breakfast.

Very good breakfast. On our last day, since we had an early morning flight, the hotel thoughtfully prepared a breakfast box for us. It was very convenient to view the reliefs at Borobudur. As a hotel guest, we could join the one-hour guided tour directly through the hotel's private access.

The hotel's location is very close to Borobudur, and the VIP sunrise tour they provided was excellent.

The view is amazing, it is a standalone housr surrounded by a park, so tranquil.

The hotel is within the borobudur park itself. The proximity to the attraction is the biggest advantage. The ox tail soup was good. There's a borobudur view from the room.

Location! If you are coming to magelang to visit borobudur temple, this is the place to stay. The hotel is inside the centre. The room price is included with Borobudur tickets with tour guide and afternoon tea. I stayed at the cottage. The sunrise view is beautiful. Though the room rate is slightly on a high side but all in all it’s worth the money.

Staying at the Monohara is an experience; looking from my balcony straight out at Borobudur was the main reason I stayed here by d it lived up to expectations. Staff were all great, friendly and genuine, food ( room service) also good. Nothing negative for me at all about the hotel.

It is right in the area of the temple! And you can see the temple from your room! Amazing!

The location is superb for visiting Borobudur. Also, the stay included the price of tickets to go up to the Borobudur temple and not just the grounds, which was really nice as they arranged everything.

accomodation at the foot of the Borobodur and a cabin too watch the sunset and sunrise looking at the Borobodur. Beds were fantastic and everything neat and clean. Quiet and green with flowers and butterflies. A place to rest. Highly recommended to stay.
