“Perfect and beautiful place”

Perfect place, very clean and beautiful. Excellent service. Outstanding food. It is very quiet and surrounded by fields. One can go by foot to the Borobudur Temple. It is managed by Swiss who are excellent in hotel services

“Loved our stay at Le Temple and will hopefully stay again in the future.”

This was our first time staying at Le Temple Borobudur and we loved it! It was luxurious but also quite and relaxing. I travelled with my family (mother and sister) and we all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the Family Stupa Villa Pool which had a private pool - important for us as we prefer a private space to swim. The view from the top floor was gorgeous and we loved watching the sunsets. The location was also great as it was away from the busy streets but close enough to walk to the Borobudur Temple! The staff were all so friendly and eager to help. Room service was great, they can also spray your room with mosquito spray so you can avoid getting bitten. We also enjoyed the different experiences that the hotel offered (batik making class and orphanage visit). We just wished we stayed longer than 2 nights!

The resort was an amazing spot and exceeded my expectations in any possible way — gorgeous architecture, exceptional staff friendliness, nice food, and proximity (on foot!) to the Borobudur temple. It’s easily one of the most spoiling experiences you can imagine.

The resort was an amazing spot and exceeded my expectations in any possible way — gorgeous architecture, exceptional staff friendliness, nice food, and proximity (on foot!) to the Borobudur temple. It’s easily one of the most spoiling experiences you can imagine.

The hotel is beautiful. The design is very unique and stunning and the rooms/stupas are amazing and spacious. I would love to permanently live in one. The beds are super comfortable. The swimming pool is lovely, and a nice warm whirlpool. Rooftop has a great view over the mountains and nature. Service is beyond friendly and helpful. Very short walk to Borobudur, with a beautiful surrounding. Definitely recommend this hotel, especially when visiting Borobudur. We regret not staying here longer.

“A beautiful haven of tranquility”

Breakfast, lunch, dinner - it was all wonderful, served in beautiful surroundings. Great staff, very helpful, friendly. I could go on and on about how good Hotel Le Temple is but putting it simply, it was just magical. Located within 10 mins walk of Borobudur Temple and in beautiful setting with views of the mountains and part of the temple itself. The resort was very clean and well- kept with many amenities. Would definitely recommend.

This is a beautifully designed tranquil oasis near the Main Borobodur temple. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food is incredible: Michelin star quality: astoundingly good. The design is original but ties in with the temple theme. Walking distance to the Borobodur temple too.

A beautiful resort located on farm land within eyesight of the borobudur temple. This is both a good and bad thing. On the good side the rural setting is just lovely. But it does mean there is not much going on around the resort. Eating options are very limited unless you get a taxi somewhere. This would not be such an issue if the resort restaurant was 5 star. Unfortunately it is not. The meals are expensive, small, and underwhelming, with the western options odd versions of the real thing. Clearly the chef is not internationally trained. Nor is there a lot of options on the menu, so if you are staying for more than a few nights you might get tired of what is on offer. The moat like pool around the restaurant was a hit with the kids (and parents 😁). It's a bit strange to access, as you need to go through the restaurant to get in. But it was refreshing, clean and well maintained with a lovely outlook. The rooms we had were good but the floor in ours was deteriorating and was a bit odd to walk on. There was a shoddy attempt to stick the worst parts of it down. Staff were great, very friendly and keen to help.

“A must in Borobudur”

We stayed in 2 different type of villa. One, wooden one and the other with jacuzzi. Both are amazing. Well equipped, spotless clean, amenities and super comfortable bed and pillows. Breakfast a la carte is superb with a large choice of western and Indonesian food and for dinner you have again super nice options with really reasonable prices and high quality. But the thing that really impressed ourselves, was the staff, from the owners to every employee we met, they are all natural and truly good persons that made us feel fully heart and at home away home. I would like to name all, Jolan, Andhiko, Kiki, Vivin, Resma, Hafi, Puji, Body and all of the, thank you with all our heart. You make the difference and also are at one the best hotels we have stayed in terms of relation quality. Thank you guys, part of us stays in Le Temole
