“Great place to stay”
The room we were given was much bigger and better than expected. The staff were friendly. The location was very close to the temple. There’s a restaurant on site as well.

Every detail and element of the room was beautiful - esp loved the tiling, esp in the bathroom and the wide open shower concept. The surroundings are so peaceful and fact it is set back off the busy street is a total bonus! Super helpful and friendly staff - lovely cafe for breakfast. One of my fave booking stays - Terah Makasi

I stayed at Griyo Jagalan because I had planned to do the sunrise tour at Borobudur. The location is excellent — it’s only an 8-minute walk away. The place is beautiful and relaxing, and inside the garden there’s also a small restaurant where they serve food and drinks, which I highly recommend. The owner, Berman, is extremely helpful with anything you might need — even if he’s not physically there, he’ll try to assist you in every possible way. I think he’s really the cherry on top of this place.

AMAZING PLACE! Booked it for one night to visit Borobudur and next time I'm definitely going to stay longer. The room (bungalow style) was super nice. The owner was really really friendly, even helped us organise a driver to go to Nepal van Java, Selogriyo and back to Yogyakarta. Their cafe is great, with many options for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Definitely recommended!

“挺好”
The hostel was very clean and quiet at night, with beautiful surroundings. It was conveniently located right next to a restaurant, making meals easily accessible. The owner was exceptionally kind-he gave me a ride on his motorcycle to Borobudur Temple in the morning. When I checked out, he also took me to the local bus station on his motorcycle.

Very nice and helpful people。 Berman replied question very quick and gave enough information before and during my tour. He also helped me to arrange a half day motorcycle tour with an english speaking tour guide went through local residential places, It was an unforgettable trip。 Also these young men from Cafe/Restaurant are very nice and energetic. I enjoyed staying here and will come back again !

“Great location and great host”
Room was great size and bathroom had curtain between loo :) great location, there is a local Caffè run by same people with great coffee and food, when we arrived we asked for scooter rental, while we were having lunch and coffee the scooter was arranged and delivered to us. The host is very helpful and attending. Thank you
