The hotel is conveniently located near the Shrine. It's a long way from the restaurants in town, so you'll need a way to get around.

“Perfect place for visiting Borobudur”

This is a wonderful place to stay for visiting Borobudur and exploring the local villages by bicycle. The cycles were free to use. Watching the light show on Borobudur in the distance while eating dinner was a wonderful experience. Our host was very helpful in arranging onward transport.

A great place to stay set amongst the paddy fields, close to Borobudur monument. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient.

“Idyllic rural retreat”

The hotel is delightfully rural surrounded by rice fields and so quiet despite it being only a short distance from the village centre. There are great views all around including Borobudur temple from the hotel. We stayed in two separate rooms during our stay, both were spacious and comfortable. Although the design is simple, everywhere is really clean and the beds and pillows in particular were among the most comfortable of our entire South East Asia trip. Breakfast is plentiful and consisted of fresh fruit, delicious omelettes (or fried eggs as an alternative) toast and coffee/tea plus a few local delicacies. They don’t really do food in the evening but are happy to recommend local restaurants. There are lots of quiet country roads nearby, perfect for the complimentary pedal bikes which are free to use. It is noticeable just how friendly local people are as you walk or ride bikes exploring the local area, most tourists seem to travel in rather than staying in the locally and we encountered almost no westerners during our stay in Borobudur other than at the temple itself. The hosts are also lovely people, keen to make your holiday the best it an be.

Fantastic rural setting...nothing better than lounging on the balcony overlooking the rice paddies in the cool breeze Franciska was a delightful host who speaks excellent English. Very helpful with organising anything we like - e.g. organised a driver to take us to Surakarta via foothill of Mt Merapi (instead of via heavy traffic Yogyakarta)

“Lovely atmosphere, authentic vibe”

The atmosphere is really nice when you’re near the property; a fountain and surrounded by rice fields. Children playing with kites. The room is very clean and the airconditioning works well. Decoration is very nice. Staff is very friendly. Family-style atmosphere.

Located close to Borobdur Temple, this accomodation is quiet and totally surrounded by nature. The staff is friendly and polite, they have helped us with Airport transfer and with guided tours. Highly recommended for your trip in Java.

“Relaxing stay close to Borobodur”

Very comftable hotel, friendly staff. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, in between the rice fields. We were able to use bikes to go to Borobodur. The staff advised us multiple highlights around Borobodur, which were all worth the visit.

Food...Amazing. The thought put into the presentation and varying the breakfast style from day to day was very nice. The location of the breakfast and food area was peaceful looking at the rice fields and Borobudur temple in the distance.
