I booked for one night whilst touring the area, but ended up wishing I could stay longer. This is a delightful owner-run hotel, with courteous and friendly service. My room had a balcony with a mountain view. The bed was extremely comfortable. Unusually for a small hotel, there was an elevator, which I appreciated, as my room was on the third floor. The choice of breakfast was excellent. The main street is just outside the front door, with a wide array of restaurants and delightful architecture. The owner even allowed me to park my motorcycle in the small car park. I recommend this place as a base for touring the region.

- excellent location - it's right in the center of the old town - free parking - good breakfast, tasty set of products - nice staff - elevator (not obvious in that kind of old building) - clean room (except the remote control which was very dusty for some reason) and daily cleaning service

Super friendly and helpful hotel staff. They made the effort to show me good places to go in Bormio for various things and went out of their way to make sure that the breakfasts were really good.

very friendly and forthcoming staff, very convenient location: right in the city center. My room however was facing a small side road which was quieter. It featured a small balcony large enough to sit outside and watch the impressive mountain view. The breakfast was typically Italian with strongly leaning on the sweet side which is not so much my thing but there are great cakes from a lokal bakery and croissants, as well as yogurts, cornflakes, apples - and they serve freshly brewed Italian coffee (in different variations);
