Strand Hotell Borgholm is a seaside resort on Öland Island, a 10-minute walk from Borgholm Castle. It offers views of the Kalmarsund Strait, free parking and rooms with free WiFi access. Common areas and breakfast were excellent, super clean and good breakfast buffet, pool was also nice, water was colder than expected though.

“It got better but only after we complained forcefully for a room change.”
Breakfast was good and there was a clean efficiency everywhere in this massive hotel. Room was well equipped.

the free parking, the staff were lovely. Loved their matching dresses. The breakfast was great and plentiful. The outside seating looking out to the sea was so relaxing with great music. We also enjoyed the indoor pool. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Next time I’m in Borgholm I will be staying here without hesitation.

Very nice and friendly staff. The indoor pool was nice, even though the changing rooms and the way to access them hade a bit of a prison maze feel to them. Breakfast was good and parking easy.

Huge pool and sauna always available. Location of the hotel and breakfast are perfect. Personel is also very good and professional! Parking spot always available.
