Lovely remote cabin on a horses breeding farm, great for the dark nights Aurora sighting. The cabin was warm and very comfortable and had everything we needed! Parking right outside your door. We gad a lovely chat with the farmer who showed us around the stables. All their horses were so beautiful and it was so lovely to meet them properly. Would certainly stay again if and when we are back in Iceland.

Would be a lovely place to see the Aurora. Lovely neat cottages with kitchen. Note that there are very little food options around, so bring food. Note, google Lundar Horse Breeding as a location on google maps. For us the listed address did not work on google.

“Perfect place”

An awesome place to stay without noise and lights. Warm and comfortable. When we arrive could not find the cabin because the snow had covered the signal, but a kind woman help us showing the track. If there is snow don’t park close to the cabins without a 4wd vehicle.

So COZY!

Nice, cozy and worm cabbins with relaxing view on the farm. You can stroke sheeps or horses. We could stay a bit longer since we were horse riding on a next farm;-)

Very pretty cabin with a view of Icelandic horses out of the window. It was quiet and peaceful. It had everything we needed.

Because we will need a late check-in I asked for the sofa bed to already for my children. When we arrived the sofa bed was already and I just put my children to sleep :)

We loved this little cosy apartment. The guesthouse is located in a beautiful nature area, and we stopped here on our way to Akureyri. The house is fully furnished with a double bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, and small dining table, and I wish I could have spent more days here. Surrounding the property is the owner's farm, which includes lovely horses and dogs. I recommend this place to anyone and would definitely rebook it.

Kitchen is modern and well-equipped, a contrast to the old cabin wooden style.

Farm Good for couple, not that good for 4 people.

The remote location was very iconic, there was all the equipment needed in the cabin and it was also very clean.

We stayed at the farm for 2 nights. We fully enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend to stay at this beautiful place! Cabin was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Communication with the hosts was perfect we got all info before our arrival. Hosts are very lovely and we even got shown around the farm and horses ! Two dogs running around the farm are very friendly and lovely as well. There is plenty of beautiful places to visit around. We would like to thank for our stay this way !
