“It's a great holiday resort however with some issues”

Green, bushy and leafy, with relaxing atmosphere in the complex. Breakfast is good, the room is sizable and staff are friendly.

We loved the staff! Everyone was very friendly and helpful especially to my mom who has difficulty with walking. The guard, the restaurant staff, the front desk staff, room boys , driver and even the trainees were very accommodating. They were all friendly and efficient. We especially loved Fed at the restaurant who greeted us every morning for breakfast with a big smile and every time we come back from a trip outwide..he also made great coffees and got us some fresh mangoes from the tree. That was service ! The food was also exceptionally good from the restaurant. The whole vibe of the resort is very relaxing and the nature around is beautiful . I hope they won't change it .. it makes it very exceptional. The rooms were big and the high ceiling makes it even look more bigger. Location - the beach is just a few meters away .. this is not a beach front hotel but you can walk to the beach at the back and Diniwid beach is also just a few minutes away.

Stayed at The Strand Boutique Resort for a few days. The best part for me was definitely the bed — very comfortable and probably the highlight of the stay. The rooms are okay, nothing bad but nothing particularly special either. Food was also just average. The staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived before check-in time and they managed to prepare the room earlier for me for PHP 1,000 cash, which I appreciated, especially since my booking with breakfast was for two people but my partner could not make the trip in the end. One thing I found a bit disappointing was breakfast coffee policy: regular Americano is included, but if you want an espresso or better coffee, you need to pay extra. The biggest issue during my stay was the huge construction site next door. There was loud hammering almost the whole day, even on Saturday, which made it difficult to relax. Location is not in a nice area, around a 5-minute walk to the beach, but the hotel feels a bit isolated, so you usually need a tricycle/e-trike to go around Boracay. They also advertise a shuttle service into town, but during my stay it was unavailable because the driver was off. Overall, not a bad stay thanks to the comfortable bed and kind staff, but the construction noise and location situation definitely affected the experience. I will not be coming back here.

The location of the hotel was perfect - really close to the beach with the most amazing sunset, but away from all the noise and the crowded places. It has beautiful gardens, it's very nice and relaxing environment. The breakfast was great and we tried the restaurant on several occasions and the food was really good. However what stood out was the amazing staff - always with a smile, very supportive, there to make your holiday perfect.

The location is perfect because it is nice and quiet but a tuk tuk gets you into the buzz in no time. It is only a two minute walk to the beach, the mall, and the shops. The rooms are very spacious with soft beds and a great bathroom where the toilet is separate. The staff is very polite and the breakfast is amazing with lots of choice, juices, and good coffee. The lunch and dinner menu is also extensive and very affordable. Security does a great job and the pool is a lovely place to cool down.

“The Strand - excellent as usual”

As usual The Strand met all expectations. Very natural surroundings, quiet but still easy to access supermarkets and any activities required. We went specifically for a Valentines break and The Strand went above and beyond for service, presentation and value for money. This was our 3rd stay here and I am sure will not be our last.

Few selection of breakfast from the menu and everything was delicious (portions ok), nice surroundings (trees, very green) calm and quiet, super nice staff. We've had whole floor above the restaurant (2 rooms, bathroom and large terrace). Bathroom was outside rooms, entrance from the terrace - for some people that might be important info. Rooms were clean, staff helpful, laundry service available. Few minutes by walk to the beach. Water in the fridge
