“This place made Bora Bora great for me!”

What a lovely place to stay, I had it all to myself! The host is so kind and welcoming, she arranged a tour before I arrived and made sure I was fed well in the morning. There is a kitchen to use which has the basics (oil, salt, pepper). I liked the quiet location, opposite the closed down resort so not crowded with tourists! 20/30 min walk to the shops. The lady even offered to drop me off at a couple of places and gave information on what to do in Bora Bora. I really enjoyed our chats and getting to know each other. Nice balcony to sit at and watch life go by, it was really cool to see the political parties do their drive by campaigns with flags and music blasting from the vehicles! Mauruuru roa :)

“My home in Bora-Bora”

Arrived as a client, departed as a friend. I booked this place for 5 nights and felt immediately at home as soon as I stepped out of my taxi. I extended my stay twice and spent in total 10 nights at what I'd now call my home in Bora-Bora. Lanie is a fantastically kind and caring host. She has created a true traveller's accommodation which offers all the comfort at a very attractive price. Her cooked breakfast is a top notch for quality and quantity:-) The bed is super comfortable and the linen is impeccable. But what I enjoyed the most was conversations with Lanie about anything and everything. She is a wise and curious person with lots of stories to share. Go with your eyes closed!

“Wonderfully and my right choice !”

Wonderful, clean, nice, place. Everything what you will needed for a relaxing holiday you will find it. Breakfast is marvelous, delicious, for the start of the day. I had wonderful 5 days of my stay in that magnificent paradise island. Thank you for Lanie for everything and God bless you !

Lanie is an awesome host who really cares for her guests to have a good time on the island. She organised an awesome tour for me, and I used her bicycle explore the island. I loved her breakfast and talking to her. It's perfectly located near the beach. Definitely recommend it!

Friendly host. Even though I only rented a room I was given access to a kitchen with fridge and a lounge area. Walking distance to Matira beach. Had a nice « farm stay » feeling. Breakfast was nice.

There is very good equiped kitchen in the house. Not far away from beautifull Matira Beach. You can hire a bike from accommodation.

The breakfast was very nice. Eggs, fresh fruits, croissants. Decorated with flowers. Done with a lot of love :) The sleepingroom is very lovely and the bed is very cofortable. Really enjoyed my stay in Melanie’s Lodge!The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Melanie is an absolut lovely and carrying person. Seldom had such an sweet and attentive host.
