“Memorable stay in a beautiful location”

Mañana Madera is in a beautiful location in the middle of the nature. Very quiet and relaxing with amazing views of the valley. The units are equipped with everything you need. Breakfast is brought every morning at the time of your choice. The host Randy is lovely, he was very welcoming and helpful and he went above and beyond to make our stay perfect.

“An absolute Must Do in Boquete!!”

This stay is a true gem in Boquete and I would 100% recommend it! We actually planned our whole Panama Trip around it, as I had seen it online beforehand and really wanted to stay here and it was definitely worth it. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The bed was very comfortable, everything was clean and well maintained, and our highlight was of course the little „Ranchito“ where we could sit and enjoy our coffee with a view or just relax in the hammocks. Randy, who owns this place with his wife Katt, is the best host you could ask for. Thank you Randy for taking care of us, the great breakfast and making us feel so welcomed. The „Suites“ are located about 12minutes by car outside of the city center up on the hills, leaving you with a beautiful view from the property. We didn’t mind not being in the city center as Randy always dropped us off/picked us up anywhere we wanted to go for a small fee which was super convenient. The city center also wasn’t toooo charming on its own which is why we enjoyed it even more. Since Boquete is known for doing many tours or hikes, this place is perfect to relax beforehand or afterwards. He also has is own coffee which we enjoyed every day and even bought some to take home with us! If you go to Boquete staying at Randy‘s Manana Madera is a must! If we ever have the chance to come back to Panama we would definitely come back to visit:))

The hospitality was truly outstanding — the suite felt more like a private villa. It was wonderfully spacious, and the communication with the hosts couldn’t have been better. We especially loved the delicious house coffee and the abundance of colorful birds around the property. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the surroundings and view were stunning, and we felt genuinely welcome throughout our stay.

The best hosts we‘ve ever had and an amazing suite where you feel right at home! Randy was very welcoming, generous and helpful. It felt like having a friend in Boquete rather than „just“ an accommodation. We got great tips for tours, activities and restaurants. The suite is also in a very charming and peaceful spot up in Boquete with the best views, whether from the bedroom or the garden. The breakfast with their own home-grown coffee is an extra highlight. “A truly unforgettable stay – hospitality at its finest”

During our 4-week journey through Panama, we had the privilege of spending a significant amount of time with Randy and Kat. They embody true hospitality like no one else and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. It all started with our journey to Boquete. We were stranded due to a roadblock coming from Bocas del Toro, and what should have been a 3.5-hour drive turned into a 15-hour ordeal. Throughout that entire day, Randy supported us – not only with practical tips but also with much-needed moral support. Having lived in Panama for years with his wife Kat, his knowledge and calm demeanor brought us so much peace and reassurance in an otherwise stressful situation. We finally arrived after midnight and were welcomed with a big smile and the warmth you long for after a day like that. Since we arrived at night, I had no idea where we had landed. But when I opened the curtains the next morning, I was absolutely blown away by the breathtaking view over the Boquete mountains and the stunning garden, clearly maintained with love and care. Sipping tea on the terrace, binoculars at the ready to spot the beautiful birds flying by, dozing in the hammock… it was pure relaxation. Breakfast was a treat in itself – more than we could eat, and different every day. The warm-hearted conversations with Randy made it even more special. The apartment is spacious and thoughtfully designed. What I especially loved was the abundance of windows and the way Randy has integrated the space into the natural surroundings. And last but not least: Boquete is Panama’s coffee region – and Randy knows all the best hidden spots, far beyond the beaten tourist track. Be open to his suggestions – you won’t be disappointed. For me, this stay was living proof that yes, a room can be amazing in itself. But what truly brings it to life is the passion, care, and love poured into it by its owners. And here, it came all together.

“Amazing guest suite and best hosts!”

The guest suite we stayed in was exceptional! There was everything we needed and even more. Our suite got cleaned daily and a delicious breakfast was served every morning in our suite. We loved to just relax in the hack-mat and to enjoy the amazing views. Randy and Katt are wonderful hosts! They were always there for anything we needed. We’ve got even a cell phone so that we could call Randy or Katt when we needed a drive, what a service! Thanks to Randy we’ve got a lot of recommendations where to eat and where to hike. Further, Randy told us a lot about the Panamanian way of life. At the top of the amazing time we had, Randy serves the best self-grown coffee to his guests. Mañana Madera is an extraordinary place and we look forward coming back.

One of the best experiences in my live. The owner Randy and his wife were very nice, helpful, friendly and attentive. Location has an amazing view. Each detail in the room is made with a big love and very good taste. U have even raincoat if the weather is rainy, welcome very good quality drink (don’t want to spoil surprise), tasty coffee, and many more things which make your holidays unforgettable.

“An idyllic mountain top retreat!”

We just spent 4 wonderful days at this B&B. Randy and Kat have created the ideal getaway spot with casitas tucked into a lush botanical garden that includes winding paths and panoramic views. Sunrise each morning on the ranchito deck drinking coffee fresh roasted from Randy’s coffee plantation. Then a delicious breakfast delivered to the casita and a chat with Randy about our plans for the day. At night, sipping a glass of wine out on the deck under the starry sky with the highlight seeing the Southern Cross for the first time. Randy offered to shuttle us back and forth to town so we were able to easily book tours and restaurant reservations. During our daily rides, we talked about life in Panama, with Randy sharing stories about his life as an ex-pat and B & B owner. He has such a positive spirit and a great sense of humor. We also met his lovely wife, Kat. Our thanks to both of them for one of the most relaxing getaways we’ve ever had.

Everything, it is paradise in the mountains. Randy is a real super host and genuinely wants to make your stay special. The suite has everything you need, even little extras you didn't know you needed. It was an absolute pleasure to stay at manana madera, I hope to return again someday. Thank you Randy.

“Fabulous accomodation and delightful host”

The mountain side view from your individual guest houses is spectacular as is the view from the gazebo at the end of your walkway. Fabulous night skies when its not cloudy. Each guest has their own small house with a large bedroom and living room. The (continental) breakfast you order the night before is delivered to your door and served on your kitchen table. Its only 15 minutes by car to the 3 most popular trails in the area and only 15 minutes to downtown Boquete. A place like this in the States would cost $1,000/night.

“A slice of paradise in Boquete”

The location is perfect - a few km away from the noise of Boquete town, but close enough for easy access to restaurants and treking trails etc. The views from the lodging are fabulous, and the wellkept gardens and coffee plantation provide peace and tranquility. The room was spacious and comfortable, with private bath and separate lounge/dining area. There is also a communal terrace with rocking chairs and hammocks to enjoy nature. Best of all though were Randy & Katya, the hosts. Randy was a ray of sunshine every morning when he brought our breakfast ... and always checked our day plans to see if he could help in any way. He and Kat were kind and helpful throughout, lots of fun to chat with, & full of helpful advice and tips to help us enjoy Boquete to the max. They were also very attentive to the small details that made the stay so special ... from his personalised breakfasts, to the cellphone he lent us so we could get in touch at any time, we felt extremely well looked after. Another highlight was the tasty homegrown coffee that accompanied breakfast each morning. Thank you Randy and Kat for an incredible time - we hope to return some day :)

Randy's place was our most beautiful stay in Panama. He is a very accommodating host, the bungalows and their gardens are beautifully kept and the area itself is wonderful. We were only there for four nights, but would have wanted to stay at least a week there. On top of everything Randy's self produced coffee is very good. The Guest Suites at Manana Madera are an extraordinary and incredibly beautiful hideaway. Thank you for such an amazing time! We will definitely be coming back.
