Overview
The family-run Pension Belzer offers comfortable rooms in a quiet location in the town of Boppard. It is only a 15-minute walk to the bank of the River Rhine which flows through the Rhineland-Palatinate countryside. The bright rooms at Pension Belzer all feature an en suite bathroom and some offer direct access to the guest house terrace and garden. Other rooms offer a seating area and flat-screen TV. The surrounding countryside is ideal for hiking and cycling, and Pension Belzer offers bikes for rent. It is 2 km to the historic centre of Boppard which contains sites like the beautiful St. Severus’s Church. Breakfast is offered each morning, and within a 10-minute walk of the guest house there are various restaurants specialising in German and international cuisine. There are also barbecue facilities on site. Pension Belzer is 1 km from Boppard Train Station, and it is a 10-minute drive to the A61 motorway. Free private parking is available at the guest house.

“Great choice great host, highly recommended.”
What did we like? Everything! The property itself is immaculately kept. Free off road parking. Large room opening on to terrace. Bathroom fine. Everything scrupulously clean. All this is welcome but what makes this so special is the host Edith, a lovely lady (she noticed my wife was on crutches and allocated a street level room- so thoughtful!). Breakfast was fine. We cannot recommend this enough.

“A very pleasant overnight stay.”
The lady was welcoming and spoke a bit of English. We had a lovely large downstairs room with a really big bed. We were able to park the car off-road right next to the room. There was a good selection for breakfast with plenty of coffee.

Pension Belzer is in a lovely setting. The breakfast was excellent. Service was good. The owner helped us call a taxi to get to the station on our departure.

“Few days stop over on way south”
House was on a quiet street, no traffic noise. Lovely hosts, nice room with door opening onto a terrace with table and chairs. Off street private parking. Garden round back with shady seating and fridge with chilled drinks. Fine breakfasts. 20 min walk into Boppard.

We stayed here for 1 night and it was absolutely great! Hosts are really friendly, the district is so beautiful (many trees, flowers and cozy buildings). Private parking space is huge advantage too. The breakfast is pretty good with enough variety of different types of food. At all, I would recommend you to stay here, it has 100% match for price/quality.

Large warm room at basement level, with easy access and comfortable beds. Also a large shower room. A welcoming and helpful host. Very good continental breakfast. A quiet location with free private parking.

Comfortable Pension in the middle of green hills in Boppard, perfect for a couple of days of hiking or just relaxing; the position was great to start the Klettersteig. I arrived after 8 p.m., so I had to do self check-in; it was really easy with the instructions and Frau Belzer called me on the day to be sure I had all the information for the check-in (and for breakfast the next day). The breakfast itself was quite rich; there was also the chance to have a free card for public transport during your stay. The room was simple but well equipped and with well functioning private bathroom.
