“Charming, clean, well stocked property great for family stays.”

Wonderful stay for two sets of families who went there. The hotel itself was situated in a quiet town called Bad Salzig, which was an easy train ride away from Boppard, St Goar, Koblenz, etc. The host gave each of us guest passes that allowed us to use the public transit free of charge, and enabled discounts on the river cruises, etc. The kitchen and bathrooms was compact but very well stocked. Rooms were lovely and comfortable. At first, we had booked a 2 bedroom apartment, but we found one of the bedrooms too small. When we mentioned this to the host, he went out of his way to accommodate our needs and moved us to another set of rooms. Also, the hosts were very helpful with laundry needs - washer dryer available on the property.

It will be a controversial review - the thing that we liked other people maybe would not like. The owners keep the property in Art Nouveau style, so it was cool to experience how it was 100 years ago. But it has implication on the size of the room. The breakfast room was sunny and gorgeous. Also waking up from singing birds was something different from what we experience in our busy city life. The property is for those who wants to stay outside of busy areas, do some hiking and nature exploration.

Amazing and romantic place with old-resort atmosphere! Wonderful nature around, friendly staff and very stylish rooms. We enjoyed the atmosphere of traditional Alps resort

The staff was wonderful, so helpful with recommendations. The location was also very comfortable. Walking distance to supermarket and train station.

The owner we found was very charming, she made us feel very welcome. The bedroom was lovely, well decorated and the bed were very, good height and very comfortable.

We had a great time there, we were absolutely satisfied with everything, the rooms were nice and comfortable and the big plus was the breakfast although it was just thru the weekend. We are extremely grateful for their willingnes, becouse we forgot an expensive item in our room and they send it back to our home in Slovakia without any problems! We surely looking forward to our next stay.

A lovely location in the woods within walking distance of the town and Rhine. A beautiful mansion house tastefully decorated. Rooms really clean, comfortable beds and good facilities. Would be happy to stay here again when travelling in this area.
