Overview
This traditional-style hotel in the wine town of Boppard is a 2-minute walk from the River Rhine. It offers food from the Rhine River Valley and WiFi in all rooms. The Hotel Sonnenhof has soundproofed, non-smoking rooms with flatscreen TVs. Rich breakfast buffets are served in the Sonnenhof’s traditional-style restaurant. Lunch packs can be provided. Hotel Sonnenhof is perfectly placed to explore Boppard and the Rhine, being only a two minute walk from the river. Michael and his wife (and Buddy the dog) are excellent hosts who made us feel extremely welcome, as well as giving us all the information we needed to make the most of our stay. My dog Harry enjoyed lots of extra treats as well! Would definitely recommend.

“It was a home from home with a little amusement caused by our attempts at the German language.”
Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. The hotel is ideally situated only a few metres away from the town centre, shops, restaurants and the riverside. The hosts (and Buddy, the dog) are delightful people.

“Cozy dated hotel where the price you pay is right for what you get.”
The hotel owner is a very friendly person that gave us a warm welcome. Every day he made us fresh eggs for breakfast. The hotel is on the edge of the city center and there is free car parking at walking distance.

“Not a great experience, only able to justify location rest I felt not value for money.”
The only thing about the hotel good is location. Rest other things are average. It is not bad but not too good. Check In timing.
