“Excellent, relaxing hotel on the Rhine”

Perfect location on the Rhine. Very good room and lovely breakfast. Staff very helpful, although no issues to raise with them. Booking a Rhine view room definitely worth the extra cost. Near to many excellent local restaurants.

The location is stunning. The hotel is very stately and yet the staff are friendly and good at making people feel at home. The room we had with a river view was large and bright, a great room.

I really liked the friendly attention of the staff. The room was always immaculate and was tidy while we had breakfast. The location of the hotel was perfect for the activities we had planned. The beautiful Art Deco architecture and decoration of the hotel.

The "Rhine View" room was pleasant. The breakfast was very good, plentiful and a good selection. The room was clean and comfortable, The restaurant had a reasonable menu but not a wide enough choice to suit both of us.

It's a very welcoming hotel in the 'old style', and has several old pictures on the walls of the hotel back in the early half of the last century. The bar is old style in the best way - they even have a whiskey room. The staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. We didn't eat there so can't comment on the food. The bedroom we had was at the back of the hotel but was very quiet with a small private balcony. The 'double' bed was 2 single mattresses together - which seemed to be the norm as we travelled over the week. Private parking garage was a short walk from the hotel. Overall a well appointed hotel right on the Rhine with plenty of food options around, if not eating at the hotel itself.

“A great stopover hotel”

We liked the Art Deco style of the hotel, the rooms were very comfortable and good sized. The bar was very atmospheric. The parking is available in a garage which was very convenient.

Charming Art Nouveau style and all excellently maintained. Staff were courteous and professional. Although we didn’t eat in the restaurant this time (we were just overnighting on a long journey), the menu was exciting and good value. The pool and gym were modern and a great facility. Parking overnight was available on the street outside with only a small charge on the meter.
