“Nice quiet stay with an good view”

The property is lovely, big and with a pretty garden. View from the room was awesome, we could see the Boppard Old Town as the property is perched on a hill top.

The property was lovely, such a beautiful view and a lovely room. Stefan went above and beyond to accommodate us, brought us breakfast when it wasn’t included and dropped us to the train station at the end of our stay because we didn’t have a car. Very caring host and beautiful property!

“Idyllic hideaway in one of the most beautiful parts of Germany”

This is an absolute gem of a place perched up in the hills overlooking one of the most attractive stretches of the Rhine Valley. Quite simply, it's one of the best holiday bookings we have made in years. It was unfortunately a bit too chilly to properly enjoy and relax in the landscaped gardens, but Stefan - the host and owner - has done a remarkable job of modernising this old inn (and chapel). He provided us with everything we needed on arrival, was always available to help or answer questions throughout the stay - and our only regret was that we didn't book for longer!

Comfortable ,spacious room, beautifully decorated with lovely views. Great location on top of a hill but still close to village. The hotel grounds delightful l and surroundings very peaceful. A little gem, very much recommended.

“Beautiful, quite, comfortable apartment”

A beautiful, well-maintained villa in a quiet area, with nice views and every detail for a comfortable stay. There is a small path in the forest along which you can go to the Boppard center, a bit steep but acceptable. When it was dark, taxi was the only option to go back to the appartment. But this little inconvenience is compensated by the tranquil location of the villa.

“Lovely experience”

The location is surrounded by woods, and the house and everything were just renovated and like new, we had everything we needed and Stefan was really kind and gave us great recommendations. The place is great for families and close by car to the city.

Beautiful location, fascinating house and lovely gardens...full of history and memories. Stefan gave us a wonderful welcome and we will return. There is absolutely everything you need and more to make your stay comfortable.

Amazing setting. Like an oasis in the middle of nature. Great views of the Rhine from my bedroom window. Stunning apartment with each piece of antique furniture individually selected with care and love… all apartments very traditional yet with modern amenities (our apartment had a very modern bathroom, kitchenette with oven, coffee machine, microwave, fridge, etc). We were full self-catered. The garden is also a delight - like something out of a fairy tale. Incredible kind hospitality from local descendants of the “old forester”. This guesthouse is an absolutely spectacle to behold and experience. I cannot praise Stefan and Joerg enough for the care that has gone into this place. Stefan was also very helpful with local recommendations. This is hands down the best place to stay in the entire Rhine valley region. Boppard is also ideally located with river tours up and downstream.

Stefan has a gem of a house with an even more beautiful garden! We had great weather, so we lay in the garden for 2 afternoons, haha!! The appartement Miss Marple has everything one could ask for and is utterly cosy. Beds are great!

The apartment was beautiful in superb surroundings- just be aware of the extremely steep hill to access the property. Car only - or arrange a pick up from Stefan or Jorg - we tried to cycle there - far too dangerous.

Situated up the hill 5 minutes from Boppard. Very quiet and with lovely garden and patio area each room can use. Room was recently renovated and is spotless with very nice fourniture. Bed is super confortable. Very quiet to sleep, no city or train noise. Host is very nice and welcoming.
