The apartments are set in idyllic, beautiful countryside in the Valle de Pielagos area. The region is characterised by its beaches, cliffs, crags and foothills. “Rooms in main hotel are nice to stay in. Give the apartments located away from the hotel a miss.”
Hotel was nicely presented, modern, light and airy. Reception staff were very helpful and personable. The room we eventually ended up in was in the main hotel and was very nice. It was a corner room, fairly spacious, clean and adequately equipped. It had a great outlook over the village. Nice the indoor pool was open til midnight. Outdoor pool looked lovely. Breakfast room looks over the hotel terrace and into the valley which was really nice. Breakfast was fine - bread loaves were nice.

For 6 people we had 4 pillows and 4 towels. Constant loud noice from autoban nearby! Shabby surrounding. There's no teapot to make a tea. Reception is about half a mile from apartment up to a steap hill.

The Apartamentos Dunas de Liencres offered a spacious and comfortable apartment with all the necessary facilities for a relaxing stay. The room itself was a real plus, providing ample living area.

“I love the location, Boo the Pielagos has way more than I was expecting.”
I liked the location. It had parking place, the local train that goes to Santander is about 20 mins by walk. As we went there in November, there were not many people around., so it was really quite. When we had any issue with the facilities, we just made a call, and someone came to help in 15 mins. There are a lot to see in the surrounding. Nice walk to the see coast on both side of the river. Supermarkets are about 10 mins away be car. The heating made it really comfortable. Beds were ok, kitchen was equipped, we just had a good time there. There is also a laundry colose by- also the apt has washing machine.
