“Nice short getaway”
It was situated on the river, the cabin was enclosed which was great for the dog, and there was a hot tub in the courtyard. The shower head had great pressure and the unit was spacious. The wifi worked well. The property also left a nice welcoming basket.

“River Rest”
Amazing place. We loved the peace and tranquility. We could hear owls calling out from the rock face opposite us, with the constant rushing of the water. The cabins are rustic and all that you need. Be sure to visit the farm Owls Rest to get some amazing lavender infused olive oils and jams.

Lovely quiet location right on the river. Peace and tranquility at it's best. There is a great outdoor builtin braai. It was raining and we could still sit outside and braai. Would have loved to have stayed longer. The facilities are good and it is close to the wine farms in the area.

The view was great. The barbeque facilities were excellent. Very nice touches like chocolates and rusks and bags of ice and wood. The portable gas stove was a great addition for loadshedding. The cottage was quaint, comfortable, well-equipped and next to a beautiful river. Fantastic experience overall and I highly recommend it to those looking for a great value-for-money stay.

Very cozy wooden cottage on bank of the river with beautiful well kept lawn. Save swimming in river. Cottage have everything you need and the view from the deck is fantastic.

Loved everything about this place. Will definitely be back. Loadshedding or not. My personal opinion. If visiting this or any other holiday destination take a gas stove with. This will ensure you always have boiled water for coffee as loadshedding was at times 4hrs at a time

“Relax to the MAX”
The environment was so amazing for the dogs. they enjoyed it so much. The cabins is fully kitted , you basically just bring clothes and food. This was my second time and I cannot wait for the third stay.

Was so relaxing, next to the river. You just have to bring food and wine. They had everything you can think of. They were also properly prepared for loadshedding.
