Hotel Stiegl Scala is a perfect mix of old-world charm and modern design, close to Bolzano Station. Dating back to 1898, the hotel boasts a beautiful garden with a seasonal swimming pool. This historic hotel has undergone a number of refurbishments over the years and provides all the latest amenities. Each room comes with free Wi-Fi and some overlook the surrounding hills and vineyards. Start your day at the Stiegl Scala with a generous breakfast out on the patio. The hotel features a bar and lounge. The elegant salon dates back to the 1920s when it was a reading room. The wood-panelled bar has a much more rustic atmosphere. I liked everything about this hotel! Clean, spacious, and modern inside. With generously proportioned public rooms, a terrific mural in the dining room, a very well equipped gym (which I used twice), and a comfortable bedroom. The reception staff were exceptional during my stay. And Noa really went the extra mile in helping me to have my glasses, which I had left behind at the hotel, shipped back to the UK. I will make this my go-to place to stay in Bolzano.

“Lovely hotel in nice location”
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a good selection with some amazing pastries. The room was a good size and being a family room allowed the kids to have their own room. We also had a tourist card for public transport which was great. The hotel is about a 10min walk from the station and city centre. Overall very happy with our stay.
