“Cute little house away from it all”

It was our second time staying here. It's a lovely little house, full of charm. The house itself has everything you need and the location is so peaceful. We would love to stay again.

Bad smell in the house

The apartment was impeccable and extremely well-appointed. Everything was there to cook and relax. The design was brilliant and managed to offer everything in a small but comfortable package. We appreciated having a Nespresso machine and pods, nice touch!

Lovely little property very Icelandic clean great location

“Comfortable, cosy and coastal”

We loved how quaint this home was whilst travelling through Iceland, and was perfect for us as a couple for the night. The house was easy to get into, we checked out Tjoruhusid for dinner which is about 15 minutes away and can also highly recommend adding to your journey if you’re in the area. The showers were nice and warm and the place was cosy.

A cosy little house and as the name states it is little (height wise). I banged my head on a few spots, I stand at 184cm tall so if you are taller be careful. Plenty of amenities provided, nice kitchen and lounge. Bedroom was upstairs with a little ladder to climb on. Everything was clean and tidy, good wifi.

Beautiful cottage in a quaint village, close to the seaside. The cottage has a dollhouse feel to it and is very cosy.

Fantastic little house, exactly as described and pictured. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, warm, well furnished, high quality linens, really fantastic. Everything you need for your stay. It was fine for me, but to note, the bedroom is up some steep stairs (clearly shown in the pictures), and these could be too much for people with limited mobility. I loved the feeling of climbing into the loft to go to a very, very comfortable bed! I loved the location, fantastic for visiting the Westfjords and for Hornstrandir.

Very nice and tidy little house and garden. There is evrything you would need for some quite and relaxed days. The contact with the owners was good and the acces to the house was easy.

“Most beautiful place in the West Fjords”

The most beautiful and thought through place my wife and I ever visited. The house is a mixture between English cottage and tiny home and offers every convenience you could wish for. It's the lovely details in furniture and accessories that made me instantly feel at home when coming through the front door.

What a labour of love! This little house was the nicest accommodation on this trip. Small but perfectly done out. Well provisioned kitchen with a Nespresso machine and enough coffee for the entire stay. Hob, microwave and toaster, everything we needed for a great stay. Comfortable bed and the little ladder up to the sleeping loft wasn’t daunting although someone with mobility issues may struggle. We thought it was quite exciting. Very cute property, we absolutely loved it!

Everything was perfect! One of our best experiences not only in Iceland but in all the places we visited. The cozy cottage is located in the amazing Bolungarvik, everything you need to cook and enjoy your holidays is there. Tv, Netflix, wi-fi. Home with wonderful design pieces. Easy self check-in. Iris was really nice with us answering to our messages. Hope to come back !

The Little House was a great place to stay during our holiday. PS for staff rating, there were no staff so not relevant rather than poor.
